Yesterday at about 6:39 PM I pulled into the drive-through at KFC on Airline Boulevard in Portsmouth, Virginia. I have not been to this KFC Since the pandemic. The upper right quadrant of the Drive-through menu was broken and located behind the lower right quadrant of the menu. As a result, I couldn’t read what yesterday‘s specials were. I asked the cashier on the intercom what yesterdays specials were and someone in the background yelled out to tell me to read the menu board. I attempted to Explain that the menu board is not visible and it is broken. Only then did the cashier tell me what the specials were as I continued on with my order, the person in the background is still upset that the cashier is telling me what’s on the menu even though I explained that beer menu was broken. I asked to speak to the manager while still at the intercom and I was Verbally dismissed by being told that if my order is complete, then pull around to the window. When I arrived at the window, I asked for the manager again and the cashier ignored me. I plead to see the manager because I wanted to park and speak with them in person. The cashier told me that the lobby is always closed and asked me if I needed anything else being even more dismissive. First and foremost, the young lady in the backgroundwas very loud and obnoxious, unprofessional, and Rude. Her attitude was extremely unbecoming a good representation of customer service. No one should be working in an atmosphere such as this with an attitude like that. That person had no customer service etiquette whatsoever. I hope that KFC corporate ensures that people with attitudes such as this, never have the opportunity to work for their company. As a customer, I should be able to walk in and see what type of environment my food is being cooked in, and I should never have to worry about being mistreated for not being able to read a menu that’s not visible for customers to see. I’m An educated, retired veteran with a masters degree, of course I can read. Lol! As we say in the military, this was completely UNSAT! Finally, this restaurant is still operating on pandemic status and the original recipe seems not to be available whenever my husband and sons have ordered in the past year. It’s July 2025.

Absolutely the very worst chicken and service ever. Two women working and store not busy. I had a pick up order and waited 10 minutes before one of them acknowledged me! Then when I asked if the biscuits were in the order she barked at me and said you see the box? No wonder this is the worst store ever, chicken isn’t good anymore. Do not go there

Potluck dinner, the service was great, got a 12 piece with sides of mashed potatoes, gravy, and Mac and cheese. All were delicious.

I can't believe the food the workers let leave the kitchen. Burnt chicken, soggy skin, was supposed to be crispy. With meat missing on every single piece. Chicken with one or two bites. What a waste of money. Don't visit, if zero stars were allowed that's what they would get.

The inside was closed for some reason at the Western Branch and Airline locations in Portsmouth Va. The lady running the drive through tonight at the Airline blvd (11/24/24) was absolutely rude she wouldn't let us do multiple orders although them being closed was beyond our control.

i'm going on takeout time, on the apps looby open but when i get there (6:35 pm) lobby is closed , i have long time wait on the drive thru line, i don’t have car . Finally when i go to the window someone told me "chicken tender is out" ?. Then i got other food becauce money refund system is too much difficult prosses.
