At 12:07 pm on 12/09/21 we did a telephone order for Chicken livers & Chicken gizzards with puffs. The livers & gizzards were cooked in old cooking grease. This was Thursday at lunch time. You expect food to be fresh or not served. It’s Saturday and I’m still throwing up and has diarrhea. I’m commenting now because this is the second time I’ve ordered bad food. Watch what you put in your mouth.I will no longer be Patronizing Pollards.12/11/21

FOOD WAS NOT DONE AND HALF OF MY ORDER WAS MISSING! THE MANAGER THERESA GOT NASTY AND RUDE WHEN I CALLED ABOUT THE DISGUSTING ORDER I RECEIVED! NEVER AGAIN!

Customer service was ok. However, the chicken pieces were very small and dry. Also, this is the only restaurant that has asked me for ID when using my card.

Ordered 12 piece meal, coleslaw was tart, fries were ok, puffs were more like pucks, chicken only two cuts breast and wing, chicken was ok no where as good as the old days for Pollards. ordered side chicken livers received combo livers/gizzards. Not a pleasant experience.

Decided to try their fried chicken, and I am glad I did! I had two fried thighs (crispy, hot and delicious, huge pieces) , fries ( which came out nice and hot), collard greens (hot and delicious), and a sweet roll with honey (yum!) The staff were once again so friendly and helpful. They all interacted with all the customers with a smile. Plenty of food for the price! Unsweet tea was refreshing, as well!

The restaurant itself was fairly clean (although not perfect and showing some age) and the associate accepting the order was friendly. (Note that this is more of a fast food environment than a sit down restaurant.)The food itself was made quickly and the chicken breasts appeared to be made fresh. I had the corn pudding and macaroni and cheese for the sides. The sides were small and tasted fine, but nothing was extra special. The chicken was crispy and cooked well, but was kind of plain. Nothing was bad, but there wasn’t anything to bring me back. I will most likely visit Kentucky Fried Chicken rather than Pollards. It wasn’t bad, but it was all kind of average/ordinary.

Chicken sandwich was fine. It wasn't over seasoned which made it enjoyable. However, the deduction in stars come from the small portion sizes and the bun in which was used. I would enjoy it more if they threw some butter on and toasted the bun.

Visited.store sun, aug 22, 2921. Food was top notch, store was sp o tless. Kudos to staff. My gripe.is the slippery floor in the men's restroom. I am mobility impaired and I use a cane. The floors were dangerously slippery to the point i had to use the wall for stability to keel from falling. I tol my dinner guest when i returned to the table that if she needed to use rhe restrooms to be extra cautious because the floors were slippery. My guest is also mobility impaired amputee so these things are important to us. I was contemplating telling the staff but she was really busy. She was returning from the back with my to-go item and as she walked by me she lost her footing and landed jarringly hard on her backside with her knee twisted back. After she felloi 7 though, I didn't think then was the right time to complain about slippery floors. But I recommended the sister she get checked out because she hit the floor .

Should be a 5-star rating but floors are so slippery that i almost slipped in the mens room. I am mobility-impaired and walk with a device. I had to steady myself with the wall to keep from slipping. I noted to my dinner companion, also handicapped, to be very careful as the floors are very slippery. As we were leaving, I was contemplating mentioning the slippery decks, and they were busy too, a staff member walked by me and slipped and fell, slamming the floor on her back side. She immediately grabbed her right knee which twisted oddly. After a few minutes, and with assistance from a patron, she got up and resumed her duty. However, I did advise she seek medical attention as that was a very hard fall. I didn't think mentioning the slippery floors would be helpful. Other than that, the fried gizzards and livers are to die for!

Pollard's has always been a cut above all the fast food franchises, and this location was just as good. My only objection was the absence of masks.

Customer service and food quality has really declined in the past 4 months...I only give it 2 stars because my elderly father in law loves the food, but not for that it would be a 1 star. Management needs to step it up in this place before it goes by the wayside...seriously..
