Customer service was bad I only recieved conversation and a smile once it was time to pay and u had the option to tipp. I ordered 6 cupcakes and they all tasted store bought and the actual cake was very thick. I was goin for a more light but fluffy cake . They wasn't fresh at all

I was looking for a cake the day of for a special Birthday Surprise. I am very good for forgetting to put an order in somewhere as I'm always busy and on the go. I wanted something a bit more special than a grocery store bought cake that always tends to be the same old same old. I know a lot of locally owned bakeries just don't have cakes readily available the day of. I called this place and to my surprise they had a few readily available. I've never had their cakes before and was willing to try as the owner is a self baker and locally owned. She told me over the phone that there were 3 flavors. Vanilla, Chocolate and Almond Lemon. I opted for the almond lemon because not only did it sound delicious and different, but I know my MIL would love that flavor. I told her I can pick it up within 30 minutes and she said she just had to decorate it. I asked for pink and or purple flowers. I put faith in that she would do a good job. It took about 30 minutes, then she called me back to tell me it was ready. I was a bit nervous to see it, but I know if she owns the bakery, she knows what she is doing. When I got there, to my surprise, it was BEAUTIFUL! When it was time to serve the cake, the flavors were amazing. The icing was an almond flavor butter cream with a light lemon almond flavor cake. I just want to let you know how wonderful you were to be able to make this cake happen and how amazing the cake turned out both in looks and flavor. Thank you so much and I will think of you and your bakery the next time I need a cake. But I will be sure to order one in advance.

4 years ago these cupcakes were very tasty cupcakes especially when they are fresh. But I wouldn't know now because at 5:25pm on a Friday, I went over there to a locked door but the closing time was 6pm. I probably won't try them again because I don't have time or gasoline to waste!
