Left the hospital and stopped by this Starbucks. The server that helped us at the window was Jaylen . He is a sheer breath of fresh air. Not only was he exceptionally pleasant but called by husband by his name. (He saw it in the Starbucks app). “I got you Mr. Ron!” Lol. His customer service is top notch and I promise you we would drive from NC (yeah we love coffee that much) again for this experience. Thanks Jaylen! You are the real deal!!!

Starbucks Keep It Up I Give You all 5 Stars Plus Old Town Portsmouth Va & So Everyone Knows Don't Go to Starbucks on Frderick Blvd Me & My Wife was Treated Horrible SO I Truely Recomend Using the Starbucks in Downtown Portsmouth.. Best In the 757 this One in My Opinion is the One tk Go To Staff is Amazing a Treat You Well With Respect ..

It’s rare that you get over and beyond customer service from restaurants nowadays but today Jaylen outstanding customer service actually put a smile on my face this morning. I ordered from the wrong Starbucks location and I would probably still be waiting for my order if it wasn’t for Jaylen asking me what did I order or if I ordered from the correct Starbucks location. He was kind enough to tell me to cancel the order at the wrong location and he would start making my order. I was put on hold when I called the other location so he told me to don’t worry about because he saw my receipt. This was so nice of him because I was going to be late for work trying to make it to the other location. Jaylen is always so friendly at this location and Starbucks really has a Gem Barista!!
I had stopped here today to treat myself after great news from my oncology appointment. I shared with Alden the great news and proceeded to order my "celebration" drink and some I didn't know what I wanted, I left it up to her to make me something or her favorite drink. I proceeded to get my wallet to pay and she smiled and told me no payment needed, she was celebrating with me. The younger gentleman who was busy preparing drinks asked me if he could give me a hug which I gladly accepted.I don't think I had a bit of make up left after that, talk about waterworks!No amount of words could ever explain what all this meant to me, the tears flowing from my eyes were those of pure joy and the feeling of how blessed I felt by such kindness specially from Alden. You have a customer forever!I'm case you wonder what Alden made for me, it was a Brown Sugar Shaken Espresso with 2 pumps of white mocha. Delicious!!
