Love this place. Good food. Great service. Clean. They usually have weekly and daily lunch specials. They have seven tables inside if you want to eat in. The subs are a good size, cheaper than Subway and filled with copious amounts of meats, cheeses and vegetables. If you're into pizza, they have that too. It's like a little hidden gem in Portsmouth next to a pawn shop and stinky seafood market.

Been here 3 times. Food is good. I recommend getting everything on your sub. I usually do and haven't had a bad one yet. They're one of those small businesses that don't look the best, but the quality of food is equal to or better than what you pay.

I first experienced Subs while stationed at Naval hospital. I must admit I was a bit skeptical as the shopping center is a little on the seedy side. I do not recommend going here after dark. At any rate once you enter you will notice the cleanliness of the place. Its quaint with a few tables. I ordered The Max based on a co-workers recommendation and it did not disappoint. The Max lived up to the hype. The bread was toasted on the grill with a bit of butter to perfection. Then filled to the max with meat and cheese. A little bit of lettuce and a savory vinegrete concoction that is a little sweet and a little spicy. Awesome!

Clean, friendly, with food as expected. The unfortunate thing is it's in a terrible strip mall that looks run down and dangerous. I'd go back but would not walk there again. Avoid the pawn shop and ABC store to avoid getting a stare down and being asked for your money.
