I wish I could give the service a 4.5. The food was good and so was the service I only have one complaint. They charge extra if you use card and the notice about it isn't as obvious as it could be. Its on the wall right in front of the reception desk, so if your back is to it you will never see it. I just wish the person serving had told me as I was a little shocked to see my different receipts.
100% going back I'll just bring cash!!

Was in the mood for Thai food and wanted to try Thai Basil knowing it was up the street from me. I ordered thru door dash and 10/10! I got the Yaki Soba noodles with chicken and the fresh veggie spring rolls. The sauce served with the fresh rolls was sooo good too. I was very happy with the price of my food, the food itself and the portion sizes were perfect! I will definitely be back to dine in.

Although I've been going to this restaurant for years, I now live in Norfolk and still go back every time I have a reason to be over there on the other side of the tunnel. The staff is always super nice and the food is excellent. Everything I've ordered and everything my family has ordered has always been on point. I also think the inside of this place is nice to eat in although You can also feel safe getting food to go knowing everything will be correct. Ingredients always taste super fresh and the seasoning is always excellent.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Thai basil, amazing food and top-notch service! Their Thai tea is a must try, it's the perfect balance of sweet tea and creamy milk. I opted for the panang curry, and wow... the flavors were so rich and deep, with generous chunks of chicken. Their fried tofu was also a highlight, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, with a side of perfectly made spicy sauce with crushed peanuts. If you're looking for a spot that delivers on flavor and quality with great service, look no further!
Food is not worth the price

Atmosphere was nice I helped this older woman in that was the owner apparently. After talking to me (&) my girlfriend asking if we had thai food (&) we have the conversation was very well (&) the older lady was being very nice at first. Our total was $42 (&) when my girlfriend swiped her card she was charged $980….almost 1000 to her credit card. She prints out the receipt (&) goes to have my girlfriend sign it (&) that’s when my girlfriend noticed she was charged a crazy amount. The older lady continuously apologized but she kept trying to make us pay the correct payment straight away while my girlfriend was checking her phone looking at her CC balance (&) the older lady lied (&) said when she voids the payment it would immediately go back when that’s not the case. As we pay the correct amount I turn around (&) see a lot of written/typed out signs that seem like they should have been infront of me. I come across a sign saying they charge a merchant fee for all card purchases when that is completely illegal. I bring up my concerns to the older lady a bit after I got my food (which was not that good to me) that she can’t charge me that fee without letting me know or have a visible sign of it before I place my order (&) she begins to yell at me (&) says she knows the law (&) just keeps cutting me off. She said she would put me on the phone with the merchant like she had him on speed dial (&) it made no sense how fast she got them on the phone since she is supposed to be the owner. She tried to give me 2 dollars out her purse after being irritated I told her that was wrong (&) not legal multiple times but yea I ended up leaving (&) I don’t really recommend this place just based on the behavior I received from trying to let her know this information. She also told me that she never tells anyone about the fee so if you eat here (&) you get told a total (&) pay more please report it to your card network (&) VAG.

Delicious food and friendly staff. The Tom Yum soup with chicken was perfectly seasoned and just the right amount of spice. Added rice noodles and it was the perfect meal. I have a gluten allergy and the staff was happy to look at ingredients to make sure certain dishes were safe. My husband had sesame chicken which was crispy on the outside and juicy inside. I’ll be thinking about that soup until the next time. Can’t wait to go back.

Nice food Delicious!
From the outside the place is inviting with even a sign by the entrance. The decor was very eclectic.
I was immediately greeted and seated. While waiting for my friend I was served water.
It was lunch hour (until 3pm) so all dishes offered on the lunch menu is $12.99.
I ordered the Massamun curry.
First, the portion size served wasn’t as pictured in the menu. The curry visually had disproportionate protein/veggies ratio to curry broth where it seemed like they served the last serving of the pot with only a few veggies, 3 cubes of potatoes. The peanuts should have been slightly blanched as they were too hard/raw. The beef slices were dry and tough. The rice was very dry, not fluffy and tasted like it was a day old.
Must have been an off day but considering the drive from VA Beach plus my friend and I were eyeing and wanting to try this place for some time now, it was subpar to our expectations and what other reviews reflected.

This establishment is recognized as a premier Thai dining destination in the vicinity. The restaurant's ambiance reflects a charming, family-operated style, and the culinary offerings are exceptionally flavorful. I anticipate returning to this establishment frequently.

Horrible place, ordered food on website, it was stale and bad tasting. It was so bad I Vomited.
And they don’t care, when I called the person who picked up was rude, said call website and she doesn’t know if I am saying the truth. Horrible people. Said does not care about bad review either. Asked for Manager and she said manager is in hospital. Never go here.
