Allen is the best barista of all time. Shop is cute, features delicious coffees with seasonal specials, dog friendly, displays and sells local art.
I rarely go now that the shoppe has gotten rid of the lemon poppyseed muffins, and added tons of celery to the tuna melt. Bring back lemon poppyseed! Get that celery outta here!

On a visit from out of town, Olde Towne Coffee was recommend to us by staff at the Portsmouth Museum shop next door - and OTC is a hit! My mom loved her Gobbler sandwich and my grilled pesto chicken flatbread was rich with the mingling of pesto, cheese, and delicious roasted red pepper flavor. The staff was super nice and efficient - and my Sinful Delight latte was as delicious as our sandwiches. Highly recommend!!

Welcoming coffee shop with easy going vibes and excellent coffee.
I had an Irishman in paris and my lovely girlfriend had a creamy caramel. Both of these are latte-esque drinks that were well made and on point as far as espresso, milk, and sweetness balance goes. Definitely plan on coming back!

Used to come here as a kid with my mom, now that I live back in VA again, my husband and I come here on saturdays when the market is going on. The baristas are KILLER!! Calm demeanor even though its packed!!! and theyre quick and funny! Love the atmosphere. Keep it up you guys!

I’ve been coming here since I moved here in 2024. Not as great since new management took over. Orders take longer. I waited 40 minutes for an iced pumpkin roll latte. The baristas seem to not be able to handle the high volume or orders in a timely manner, which is frustrating because I love this small business but it makes me want to go over to Cure.

****Update**** So overall nothing has changed I still stand by my original Review as seen below. There is a new owner and a bit of a rebrand and honestly I think it is all for the best! If you have come to know this place you know it has great food. It still has the European feel.
I highly recommend the Breakthrough sandwich on flatbread with the sauce, the Protein bowl, the Cajun Wrap, the Caesar Wrap or the Club. As for drinks my go to is the Irishman in Paris hot or cold with an extra shot. Also if you don't feel like making a decision and Allen is behind the Espresso machine, just order a trust me!!!

I loved the atmosphere in this place. Brick walls, antique decor, I loved it! We came in on a Saturday morning and there were no available seats. After standing in line for like 5 mins, a seat became available. We saw that you could order online so we downloaded the app and ordered thinking it would be faster but instead we waited much longer. That would be the only reason I gave them 4 stars. I ordered the creamy caramel??? I don't remember the name. Creamy something, but it was caramel and vanilla and it was delicious! I also got the breakfast burrito and loved it! I'll definitely be back but I'll stand in line instead of ordering online.

The staff here are amazing, highly engaged, and fully customer service oriented. I had a sandwich, pickle, chips, and a black tea for lunch. Everything was delicious and surprisingly filling. This is an excellent place to sit and enjoy a meal or beverage. I highly recommend this place.
