I ordered the downtown, cold on marbled rye. I'm not a religious man, but the highest order of angels made this sandwich. I had to eat it alone, the only way to consume this sandwich is with wanton, animalistic disregard. 100/10
Went to The Downtown Eatery and enjoyed every minute of it. It's very homey and has a very welcoming staff. The sandwiches and soups were fantastic and I couldn't be happier with our experience here. We will be coming back!
Stopped in on Saturday after getting movie tickets. Ordered the Deli sandwich, and my wife ordered the Pastrami and Swiss, we both opted for the sourdough bread. Very tasty sandwiches and a generous amount of meats. And the pickle spear was also delicious. The staff (I believe the owner) and the lady making the sandwiches were very friendly and pleasant. Looking at the menu, we've decided to go back in the near future and try other foods.
