Tropical Smoothie Cafe

I usually always come to this tropical smoothie and the customer service is good, however it feels like maybe glass or something from the blender was in my smoothie? This isn’t the first time it tasted like that, just wanted them to know to fix it

I never post bad reviews but this tropical smoothie is not good at communicating at all. Yesterday I did not get my whole order after having it delivered. My food was left out- I called and the gentleman who answered was very nice and said he’d have the manager call. No call back - I tried calling again a few hours later, no manager there yet. Then called back later that night, manager was supposed to come in this morning - so I called and NO manager. I was told to call back Monday and that the manager had already talked to me “says the manager” and he has not. It’s ridiculous.

Stop by this location real quick to grab me and my daughter a smoothie before catching my flight this morning. The worker in the front was very inviting and her customer service was really good. However, my complaint was that my smoothie tasted weird and my daughter felt the same. I’m usually not the one to complain or write a review but this worthy of one. The flavor of the smoothie tasted like maybe the machine or blender makes the smoothie taste of or maybe it’s time to change the filter. I was told that I MUST bring the smoothies back so that she can make new ones. That’s not acceptable, as this is an inconvenience, I’m clear across town and who is paying for my gas and time for turning around. I have a flight to catch. I thought a simple solution would be to make it right later when I get back in town. I was told no exceptions besides bringing them the product back. This is no way to operate a complaint unless I was there at the location at the time of the complaint. I will not recommend or visit this location ever again. 18 bucks down the drain.

This establishment detrimentally lacks good customer service. Every time I walk in no one ever greets me & they will just stare at you til you speak to them first. The last two times I ordered additional pickled onions on my wrap, they were not up there. Can’t even do something as simple as that.

I love tropical smoothie but not this location. Their food is warm on the outside and cold on the inside. The cook has an attitude when you complain. Like if I get sick you will have a lawsuit. Never again.

Last night my boyfriend and I ordered a Santa Fe quesadilla and a Baja Chicken wrap. The girl at the register was very sweet, and put in our orders correctly and handled a line of about 8 people that came in right after us very well and made our smoothie great. However, my boyfriend threw his wrap away after 2 bites. He didn't even let me try it before it was in the trash; he said it was hot on the outside and cold on the inside. This was also the first time in my entire life that I've ordered a Sante Fe quesadilla and got stringy, half cooked, yellow (???) onions on it instead of roasted red onions. I physically could not finish it because the string onions weren't cut through (nor cooked) all the way, and attempting to pick up a single piece of the quesadilla resulted in picking up a piece of the tortilla alone and leaving the contents of it in the box. Not to mention it was already compressed into one corner of the box (but I know this can also happen from the way the box is carried and I've ordered quesadillas that came this way and I was still able to finish them). We really liked this location but y'all NEED to have some sort of meeting about properly working in the kitchen and how to heat up the food correctly (as well as recipes but that comes with repetition and practice and could have also been an honest mistake).

When I arrived there in the evening, the light skinned girl with braids was at the register DID NOT greet me and DID NOT say a word to me while I was trying to order. She was SO rude that when I told her I needed a minute to look at the menu, she just stormed off, and stomped her feet while she went to the back. She didn’t even come back out to take my order! I was grateful that another coworker did though but she was absolutely dreadful and her attitude was so nasty! My experience with her COMPLETELY put me off from coming to that location ever again!

The reps were friendly. My smoothie was blended well with no ice chunks left (had plenty of issues with this at other locations). Thank you.

If I could give this specific location 1 star I would. I’m tired of getting food from here, paying for multiple meals and ONLY receiving my smoothies. I’ve had this same issue multiple times with this location and this one alone! I am beyond tired of the poor service here.

this may be a one-off, but service was slow today despite having 3 people working. My Drink was an online order and I noticed it was definitely ready when I walked in. But not a single person greeted me and I tried telling one girl that all I needed was my drink and she turned and walked to the back. Another customer came in and they greeted her and asked if she placed an order ToGo and she said no she was about to place an order, they didn't say anything and just turned and walked away towards the back. That customer ended up leaving and mentioned just going to WaWa instead.not sure what was happening today.

I absolutely love tropical smoothie!!! I visited the Victory Blvd location and Kevin was the only person working!! When I’d entered there were several customers waiting and a customer in front of me. Kevin was preparing an order came out presented the customer invited them back smiled at the customer in front of me assisted them quickly and then greeted me and assisted me. It was an absolute joy to observe such wonderful customer service. Thank you ? Kevin for making my experience at your location enjoyable!!
