First time brunch recommendation experience was garbage. Walking in I noticed the patrons were smoking weed. Unprofessional attire with staff. A lot of random patrons walking in and out the kitchen. Was offered a $20 wristband to take advantage of the discounted food and drinks just to never receive the food ordered. Some simple chicken and waffles. The attached business also ran by owner allowed a patron walk in and order all the remaining lamb chops the both restaurants had and advised us after we were waiting that they sold out due to someone ordering 100. Long story short…..this ain’t the TRUTH. Don’t waste your time or money like I did. I still managed to pay over $65 for mimosas, a mixed drink, and two wristbands. Absolutely horrible service. The owner was made aware and she was defensive and rude. I again would not recommend this location for nothing. It needs some effort poured into the establishment. I’m a stick to VAB where I traveled from.

My husband and I went here for a little night outing and it didn't disappoint us at all. It was free to get in, drinks were about $15 each, we didn't eat, but the food smells were immaculate. We got a hookah for about $30 & the dj was on point as well.. Our waitress came out several times just to check on us as well as others repeatedly. Small crowd, great music, and an overall great experience... It's literally across the street from Roger Browns

We love the owner Ms. Swinson and her beautiful staff of folks who carefully cater to the needs of all patrons. The party starts and ends at Truth. You owe it to yourself to get there as soon as you can!

I almost missed the other menu options because it was split in two different menus and one was on the opposite corner of the bar. The chef wasn't there so the menu was limited to what the server could make herself. The ambiance was uncomfortable because it was really unclean in the place. The furniture was positioned nicely but the floors and counters were covered in dirt and crumbs. I opted to wait outside in my car.6 piece party wings and fries for $18 is pretty steep. There were some mysterious type of strings in them as well. No idea what it was. 3 cheesesteak egg rolls for $15 is fairly priced for the size. But the amount of grease they're swimming in is stomach turning. I've never in my life seen an actual puddle of grease on one plate. I put them on the other side of the foam tray to avoid soggy egg rolls but there was so much grease that it didn't matter.I'm bummed about it. I ate here on a whim to avoid grocery shopping while hungry. But I might throw this out to avoid a stomach ache from consuming so much grease. Last but definitely not least, I got hit on multiple times just in the 10 mins it took for my food. I had to ask someone to step away from my window, and another guy came out the restaurant to tell me my food was ready (which I appreciated) but then he proceeded to flirt with inappropriate looks when I walked by him. Super uncomfortable. This place is for specific people who don't mind all that I experienced and maybe just some tipsy mingling. Not for food alone:-The lemon drop (lemon pepper) wings were average in taste. -Fries were over salted (I needed the ketchup to help cut the salt). -The egg rolls had potential with the meat and cheese content. If they could make the wrappers not so chewy and a better ratio to the meat and way less grease, they'd be good.

Ordered Shrimp and grits the plate presentation is great but the dish doesn’t have any flavor, the consistency is off, and is very milky. 3/10; not worth the price.

I won a section and platter to this establishment. I redeemed it this past Saturday. I wanted to say that the staff that day was warm, welcoming, and nothing short of AMAZING. Im disabled, but my husband and I had a ball. The atmosphere was everything, and the vibe was on point. I will be returning.

Was hesitant due to the cover charge was a little expensive. But I took a chance could it was free this night. It was nice the music the DJ was fun, drinks are a little expensive the food is good. I must say the first entree was magnificent. The second entrees were burnt but the bartender was nice and replace them. Stop by put it in the air have a drink have some food. (I'm trying to (win) a set up with the champagne food and five friends.)
