The first time we came here, the food and service was great. This time around it was not great at all! The last time I was there I had really good plain wings, this time around it was awful! Not only was service subpar. While everyone else had got their food at my table, I did not. The server went on to cash out another table and so on. I had to get up and find where my food was. I never got my salad first, we never got our hush puppies appetizer. I had to bring my own salad to the table and was still waiting on the wings and puppies. She came to the table and I told her I was still waiting on food. She finally brought the wings and never the hush puppies. She came towards the end of the meal with the hush puppies she forgot to put in. I ended up sending the wings back as they were so salty I couldn't eat them, like they poured the whole salt shaker on them, they were also very dry/over cooked. I had the wings the last time and they were never like that. I get it was karaoke night. We got there around 7ish. It was more like a DJ in a club and no singing. My in laws did not appreciate the profanity is some of the songs he was playing in his mix.
I think I will stear clear of this place for a while. It's a a shame, because this place isn't too far from our house we bought last year and was really hoping for something good. I hate to say it, but the barrel has better food, service and atmosphere than this place did tonight!

Hidden gem in Port Norfolk! Great spot with awesome food and drink specials. The wings alone are worth the trip!

So I’m outside in my truck after eating here. Friday night Karaoke. Ok. Service was ok , outside of my sampler going cold from waiting on silverware. Wings are always on point. Pulled pork was ok. Pulled chicken was gross. “Brisket” was in a bowl with overly salty au jus, looked and tasted more like salted deli roast beef- overcooked, rubbery and salty. Sides were alright. Again, some of this might be because I had to ask 3 different times for cutlery, and my food was cold. The last time I was here I got the meatloaf. It was terrible, like it expired. It appears that after the dinner rush, the concentration is on liquor sales ( a good thing), but not food quality. I’m a late eater, because I work late a lot. The food quality on all three visits just wasn’t there.
I own a truck shop up on Broad, and it’s really nice to have a sit down place to go right around the corner. My business card is my profile pic. Guess I have to keep looking. *BTW I tipped the serving staff 30% because this isn’t necessarily their fault.

I am very particular about my food, and I’m telling you right now I’ve never had wings this good. I ordered the garlic parmesan wings, and the dinner salad with the smoked chicken on top and the chicken is phenomenal. All of the vegetables were very crisp and fresh in the salad as well. I will definitely be back again and again. The service was amazing as well, I wish I would’ve caught their name so I could mention who they were but absolutely fantastic ladies.

It was OK for bar scene but other wise gross. Bathroom had broken moldy mildew caulk around toilet that made me nauseous to look at. No clean AT All. But, I dint expect much from ptown/port Norfolk. The 7-11 next door was probably cleaner on the bathrooms..ugh
Other wise..just ehhh.
Probably will never go again

The worst ever!!! They were out of pork at 4pm. 4 of the 9 of us could not eat a portion of our food due to either taste or temp. Sadly, this is not the first time having cold food. I think it's time to find another place

Was much better than expected. I've had dinner and Sunday brunch there. Both were very good.

I'm reserved about my rating. I think it is a bit generous. However, I may go back in the future. I guess, primarily, because it is, by far, among the best of options in it's vicinty. It is overpriced.
I was very dissapointed in the wings. They were small and dry. When I say small, I specifically contrast it to the menu's description indicating they were big. By my yardstick, they were as small as average SMALL wings. $13 for 6 wings = bad choice.
The BBQ sandwich was good. I enjoyed the green beans and brunswick stew also. It was daytime. No music at this time.
For my BBQ sandwich with a side of greenbeans and about a 2oz serving of slaw, 6 wings (special request, flats only), two Elesian Spacedust 16oz drafts, a bowl of brunswick stew and a 20% tip, my wife and I racked up a $78 tab for lunch.
Zoinks.
