Went to Yard House today 11/1/25We were seated and later realized that the table was not clean. It took 10 minutes before our waitress greeted us. We mentioned the dirty table, which took another 8 minutes before she came back to clean it. We went to the front desk and asked for the manager and he never showed up. We left and will not be coming back. The customer service & cleanliness is u satisfactory, well below industry standards. The leadership needs to care more.

Absolutely terrible service. Food took 40+ minutes to come out for 3 appetizer tacos. My bartender charged me and forgot to give me my beer. Then I asked to close out and waited over 10 minutes while she poured other drinks. Terrible Yard House.

I hated when i came at 12 and on the website its not posted that the bar is the only thing open and the kitchen isnt made me upset that it says it closes at 2 am but they said the kitchen was close

Let me tell you! This might be my go to every time I come home to Portsmouth now! I wanted to check out the casino and grab something to eat so we stopped in Yard House for the Poke Nachos. It happened to be happy hour and the bartender let me sample beer since I'm not a beer drinker. I really appreciated them letting me try before I buy! We were seated in a booth and since it was Happy Hour, we ordered the poke nachos and brussel sprouts. Both were pretty good! Our waitress was getting trained, I think her name was TT. She was great! I would have never known she was new but her trainer was also amazing. Shot out to them two! I then ordered the beef bowl and my fiance ordered the wings. I really enjoyed the beef bowl but thought it was missing something so I added a light orangish sauce they had. I wish I remembered the name but it was bomb on top of the steak bowl. My fiance ordered the pepper wings and lemon pepper wings. They were both BOMB. Cooked to perfection and delicious flavor. The place was clean and had great views of the tvs every where! Happy Hour was half off appetizers until 6pm and the happy hour food was great options. You could eat a full dinner off the appetizer menu!
Horrible service! The server took a long time to get our orders. When the beer came out it tasted like water and it took a while for the server to come to our table. When food came it was not at all what we ordered. By this time we spent a considerable amount of time in that restaurant..we ended up canceling our food order, finished our drinks and left. Never coming back

Disappointing Experience - First and Last Visit
This was my first and last visit to this restaurant. It started off on the wrong foot when Aaliyah, who greeted us at the table, didn’t bring enough chairs. She brought water, but no silverware. We placed our orders for food and drinks, and then I waited... and waited. It took a ridiculous 46 minutes before I received my food. During that time, I had to ask 3-4 different servers to check on my drink. Only 4 of our 6 meals came out, and I was still waiting for mine.
I ordered a turkey club on brioche, and by the time my food finally arrived, the rest of my table had already finished their appetizers and water. I had to tell the waiter that I hadn’t received my food yet, and it was only then that the manager, Molly, was brought over. She tried to make things right, but honestly, by then it was too little, too late.
Aaliyah, our server, only visited our table a total of three times, and that was only because other people had to ask who was even serving us. Aaliyah never offered refills on drinks, and no one bothered to check if we needed anything else. The lack of attentiveness was incredibly frustrating, especially considering the prices they charge here. The food was cold and not what the menu had.
I don’t like leaving negative reviews, but this experience was far from what I expect at any restaurant, let alone one with decent ratings. I understand that sometimes things can get busy, but basic service like acknowledging your guests, bringing food promptly, and checking in occasionally should be the minimum standard.
Unfortunately, I won’t be returning unless I hear that things have improved.
Nice atmosphere and good food reasonably priced. I like that I can dine at this restaurant without having to visit the casino.

I wish I could remember our servers name! And I just hope my kiosk review went through even though it timed out. It was probably in June or July. She was so sweet and attentive! Our side order of fries was taking longer than expected after she dropped our entrees (I work in the service industry so I didn’t care, and it wasn’t even that long!) so she offered us a sample of their other soup and I was reluctant, but she made it sound like we just NEEDED to try the other one. And we were glad we did! It was so good! She brought us each a spoon and we sampled the tomato soup a few times each from the sample. Food was amazing! Service was excellent! We shared a flight of craft beers. Neither of us are really beer drinkers but it was a fun experience. Bill was much cheaper than expected! Food was hot & fresh just the way we like it but we will be back for the top notch service!

I placed a to go order over the phone, said my order three times and the host repeated my order. I repeated to ensure my order was going to be right. I get arrive home and my whisky chicken wings were not sauced, very dry. I order two orders of fries and received one order. I order spinach dip and they gave me queso dip with flour tortillas. I spent $80 and it was a waste. I will stick to the one in Va Beach from now on.
