The food was good however! The fact that they refused to disclose that the heat was not working on Saturday February 7, 2026 when it felt like 7° outside is soooo disrespectful. You should have disclosed this up front and allowed your patrons to choose whether to frequent the location or not. It seems like our dollar was more important than the transparency of fault to your customers!

That some Portsmouth tastin water - just get a filter yall. The service was warm and quick, apologizing for forgetting a lemon in my water, nbd - would have masked that taste though. I had the country fried chicken with cheesy scrambled eggs 💯 Idgaf about the water now, that was some good comfort food.

I ordered a wing entree to go. First let me start off by saying that I have been going here periodically and it's been hit and miss. Each time it was a different experience. The food is never consistent but still flavorful. I recently went to pick up myself some lunch and ordered the wing entree and was disappointed. The chicken tasted like it was old and just refried to heat up the chicken to serve. I called up there to discuss this unfortunate matter and was told that they always precooked their chicken wings so that the cook time is cut in half. smh that's not cool. I am a chef and it only takes 15 minutes to fry fresh chicken so I don't feel shortcuts are needed. And the solution to my problem never gotten resolved.

Whenever I come to Portsmouth we come here for chicken and waffles. Always top notch and my girlfriend loves the mimosa's.

Was waiting for a waiter for about 10 minutes. Someone that came in through the door was able to be attended within SECONDS. This is unacceptable. There's no reason for this to happen. It was a favorite of mine until this happened. If you want your waitress to take your order in a timely manner, this IS NOT the place to go eat.
