This place is attached to a BP station and I would have driven by it but I noticed that it always had cars there so I had to stop and try it out. I am glad I did because it is a very nice place with good food.
The diner up front has a great breakfast, lunch and makes a wonderful early dinner option. Out back there's a welcoming little watering hole that's a staple of the community. It's the best place to grab a cold one in all of Powhatan. Whether you're playing pool inside or cornhole out back it'll be somewhere you're trying to get back to in the near future. I recently just started enjoying Frisbys in the afternoons as a little after work pick me up, The second or third time I came in I was being recognized and treated like almost like family by this one young woman working the restaurant side, Lydia. She was incredibly vivacious and inviting, made wonderful small talk with me until my food was prepared. It was a very welcoming and nice way to end a hard shift, safe to say i will be a regular to this restaurant!
