As a mom of little kids, it can be hard to find a place to go and hang out with the whole family but Rise & Grind is an exception! I often come here with my 3 who are ages 3 and under and am always welcomed with joy and understanding. The staff is exceptional and they have outstanding customer service that will make you feel right at home. On top of that, the food & drinks are great. We moved to Powhatan about 9 months ago and have been hearing great things about this little shop. We finally got to go yesterday and were pleasantly surprised. The coffee was excellent, the staff was warm and inviting and the blueberry lemon loaf we got was excellent, the banana muffin eas the best. We can't wait to go back. Powhatan is lucky to have such an inviting shop to match its charm.
