We moved to Powhatan about 9 months ago and have been hearing great things about this little shop. We finally got to go yesterday and were pleasantly surprised. The coffee was excellent, the staff was warm and inviting and the blueberry lemon loaf we got was excellent, the banana muffin eas the best. We can't wait to go back. Powhatan is lucky to have such an inviting shop to match its charm.

My sister and I went here for the first time today and enjoyed it immensely! They had a great chocolate lover’s coffee flight. Staff were very kind and attentive. I highly recommend checking them out!

We stumbled upon Rise and Grind on a lark and LOVED it. Now, we will travel out here from the Richmond area when we’re in the mood to work off-site. We’ve only ever had wonderful experiences. Top to bottom. Clean. Comfortable. Welcoming. I’m most impressed by the culture here. The staff is amazingly friendly and helpful. Always. Come join us out here. It’s truly a wonderful place to be.
