Delicious ice cream and nice atmosphere. Like most places in NOVA though, it is a bit pricey, especially for ice cream.

Been several times and ice cream usually good, however, after tonight, not sure I'll go back. Arrived at 8:45 and waited in line inside the shop for 15 min. Then with one couple in front of us, the young man working said at 8:59 its closing time and no one else would be served. So even though we waited in line inside the shop for over 10 mins, we were turned away empty handed. This is unacceptable customer service. I have never seen this at another store or shop.

Been several times. Ice cream usually very good. However, after tonight, not sure I'll return. Arrived at 8:45 and waited in line until closing at 9. We had one couple in front of us and a few behind us. Young man working said sorry we are closed now at 8:59 and refused service to those of us inside the shop that had been waiting in line. That is unacceptable customer service. Policy at every other shop is to serve customers who arrived before closing time, not send away empty handed those who were there and waiting in line.

We love this mom and pop shop. Very delicious. I highly recommend. Shelby is our favorite. Super nice and professional.
Great ice cream! Been a quite a few times. Tad pricey- but what isn't these days! Ordered an ice cream cake once- while not the most visually appealing - it was delish!

Love this place. The customer service is fantastic. We love Shelby! The flavors are just as good. Love the mom and pop atmosphere.

Great variety of flavors and delicious ice cream and milkshakes. A gem in the area for sure. The best part is that it’s right next to (and owned by the same people as) a delicious barbecue place called Monk’s.

If u rate this place than 5 stars immediately check yourself into a mental institution. Best ice cream on the planet- I've been 9 times - it's amazing.
Been here a few times. Was sorely disappointed when I ordered a chocolate milkshake and ended up getting a vanilla milkshake with chocolate syrup blended into it. Enough so that I left this review.

Came in at 5:30 on New Years Eve, it was clear from the sign that they closed at 6. My family of six ordered ice cream and sat down to eat. At 5:40, we were asked to eat our ice cream outside. Very disappointed by the customer service and the idea that I'm expected to eat ice cream outside in 40 degree weather with a two year old. Do not recommend.

The ice cream is delicious. But in the past month serving sizes have dropped to about half. Store policy or server? It’s happened twice. A 2 scoop serving ($6.66 with tax) doesn’t reach the top of the cup. It’s a lot to pay for approx half cup on ice cream.

Delicious butter brickle ice cream. It was very fresh and creamy, and had a lovely texture. The brickle was perfectly crunchy. The prices were reasonable and service was really good. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating !

Almost every locale in Purcellville is a small town business. Tipped Cow Creamery makes strong case why small town businesses are just better than well-known ice cream parlors.Tipped Cow is the only place I can get some of my favorite flavors like sweet cream and chai tea ice cream. Super thick, full-bodied, and extra creamy. Can you blame me for rating Tipped Cow so high? Eating ice cream at Brusters, Ben & Jerry, Ritas, Cold Stone, or Dairy Queen are just fleeting moments of joy and if I can choose between them all, I would choose local hand made Tipped Cow any time.
