We visited because they were part of the Loudoun Heights Holiday Ornament Trail * stop 5 for us! Saturday they were also hosting The Charles Washington Symphony so they were VERY busy! The Symphony required reservations, which we did not have, though we were lucky to get 2 seats by a barrel table.
Staff at the front counter were friendly. Wines were nice. I liked the way the flight was served!
Tasting room is pretty large and there is a lot of outdoor space as well.
We hope to stop back again
What we tasted:
2025 Gold Medal Ornament Flight
*note descriptions below are from the winery tasting notes
2023 Chardonnay: Aged sur lie for 21 months in French and American oak. The palate brings cozy notes of baked apple, vanilla, and gentle spice, all lifted by delicate minerality. Elegant and inviting.

2022 Thomas Great: This Bordeaux blend of 50% Cabernet Franc, 35% Petit Verdot, and 15% Cabernet Sauvignon brings classic varietals together Aged 3 years in Oak and 18 months in bottle, it's powerful yet refined. Aromas of dark plum black cherry, and violet mingle with mocha, cedar, and a touch of herb. Petit Verdot adds depth while Cabernet Franc brings bright spice. Full-bodied and balanced. it finishes with smooth tannins, dark fruit, and toasted oak

2022 Petite Verdot: Award-winning Petit Verdot was aged 24 months in barrel and finished in bottle This dark rubv-crimson Petit Verdot is ready to join the holiday party. Think aromas of cigar box, worn leather, and a hint of cozy fireplace smoke- Bold dark fruit and confident tannins lead to a long cheerful finish

2023 Piebald White:
Named for the rare piebald deer that once roamed the woods behind the winery. The blend artfully combines Chardonnay, Vidal Blanc, and White Petit Verdot to create an expressive wine with hints of floral spice, subtie oak, and a bright finish. The label has a hand drawn piebald deer

My rating rationale for beer, wine, or spirits:
+1 Service
+1 Atmosphere/Vibe
+1 Taste/Quality (Flavor, aroma, and overall quality of the beverage)
+1 Presentation (Glassware, garnishes, and visual appeal of the drinks)
+1 Selection/Variety (Range of beer, wine, or spirit options and uniqueness of offerings)

Awesome winery!!! Nice atmosphere very friendly staff, and just love Casey she is the one who served us she was so personable making us feel right at home.
We also did some wine tastings socializing with some of the locals, and making new friends here at one of Loudoun County’s best wineries now one of our favorites.
All i can say is my guys had a great time here at Two Twisted Post Winery, and we will definitely be coming back.
Thomas Great is an awesome red wine that was definitely one of my favorites.

We stopped in after our hike for a wine tasting and stayed for a couple of glasses of wine and three beers. The drink were great and the atmosphere was awesome. We fell in love with Stephanie (Becky) and had an excellent time. We will be back for sure!

Very beautiful and peaceful. The owners were kind and friendly.

And Zira, their dog, is such a sweetheart. I can't recommend Two Twisted Posts enough.

We visited Two Twisted Posts Winery for the first time and were blown away by how beautiful the property is! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcome — especially after being greeted by the sweetest Weimaraner puppy.

Even though it was a busy day, the staff was warm, attentive, and made us feel right at home. We opted for the white wine tasting flight and also tried a glass of the peach sangria. The oaked Chardonnay was a standout — smooth, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The sangria was cold, refreshing, and just what we needed on a summer day.

We relaxed on the patio, enjoyed some great live music, and soaked in the peaceful atmosphere. This venue has everything — great wine, friendly vibes, and a lovely outdoor space. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

I went here for the first time to attend their peach festival event… very disappointing event. It was called a peach festival, but the only peach thing sold was peach sangria, which was ok.
The event also said there would be ‘food vendors’ and there was only one with limited options because they sold out fast.

I ordered a cheese tray, and they brought out a packaged bag stack of crackers and packaged cheddar cheese block. The presentation was underwhelming - you would expect more in the Loudoun county area for your money.

After that, ordered a small pizza and they said they weren’t sure if they even had any and if they did, they would just bring it out.. when they brought the pizza out, it was VERY similar to the small round Costco frozen pizzas.

On top of that, it was a very hot day and we asked for a bucket of ice to keep the sangria cold. They gave us a bucket with barely any ice, yet others seemed to have received more.

Also, keep in mind, this place has a rule that beers are ONLY limited to 1 per person. You CANNOT buy more than 1, each person needs to grab their own.

Maybe my family just chose a very bad day to go here for the first time, but it was obvious that they did not plan or organize the event well. Also seemed very understaffed.

Now two positive things, the owners dog onsite was cute and the red sangria was pretty good - WAY better than the peach.

All in all, nothing peachy about this whole festival. Very much let down.

If this winery was a person, it would be that kind, fun, generous, quirky aunt who you can't wait to visit! She always gets you with real, warm hug, has the best snacks, and slides you a twenty dollar bill when you're parents aren't looking.

Two Twisted Posts is a hidden gem with amazing wine, I love my visits here and always tell friends it's a must visit in Loudoun Wine country. Don't miss Don't Call Me a Cab, it's a unique and lovely wine, just like the place that makes it!

I've been wanting to visit this winery for a while and am so glad I finally made it. I'm usually a red drinker, but tried a flight of whites and enjoyed each one. My favorite was their viognier, it reminded me of a buttery Chardonnay. I tried their IPA which was also delicious! They had live music and a beautiful outdoor space. ♥️

We love this vineyard. The grounds are gorgeous, the wine is terrific, and the staff is so friendly! They are always a favorite stop on our northern Virginia vineyard visits. Dog-friendly and always warm and welcoming.
