Took my wife for a combination birthday/mother's day dinner. The service was quick and attentive. We ordered the sushi since it is my wife's favorite meal. It came out laid beautifully on a wooden plank. The rolls were delicious and very filling. It is rated up there with some of the better sushi we have had! Highly recommend checking this place out! Its the small mom and pop diners like these that really impress!

Sun's Cafe is a rustic southern diner turned sushi. Don't sleep on this place... It's so good and for the price? Even better. Sun, the owner, will be there to greet you and be an excellent host.
Scared of driving from down town? Guess what, you don't have to pay for parking and if you stay late enough when you leave you can hear the woods comes alive. 10/10 experience.
Small mom pop business reminds me of home. Will make it back for sure.

1st time at this little spot & got to go. It was a Sat night & was busy. Ordered sushi and the owner was super busy doing every job at once but very friendly! Phone ringing off the hook, giving customers their orders, refilling drinks, cashing out checks etc she was on it. I’d definitely get food from here again. Sushi was pretty good for the middle of nowhere!

What a fantastic meal! We decided to explore and find a new local restaurant since just moving to the area, and we’ve definitely found our new favorite spot. We ordered a burger meal each and shared two rolls of fried sushi, hoping to take some home, but we ended up devouring everything. The food was absolutely delicious! Our server, who I believe is the owner, was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home, especially since we were the only ones there beginning of our meal. I highly recommend this place to anyone traveling on the highway or in the area. We will definitely be back! ?

Stopped by on a whim for lunch, boy are we sure glad we did! The sushi here is UNREAL. So many options and absolutely incredible. Everything is so fresh and the rolls are huge. The prices are incredibly reasonable as well. We will become regulars! If you’re in the area or passing through and like sushi- it’s a must!!!

The service was fast, they kept our drinks full, and the food came fast. Presentation was the best I've seen in a long time. The sushi was tightly rolled, the rice was perfectly cooked, all the fried items were crispy and crunchy. Overall very satisfied, I will definitely be returning.

Stopped in on our way home to the valley from Busch Gardens. We were able to enjoy sushi, Japanese food, and American food all in one place. And it was all sooo good! Sun is a wonderful hostess! This will be a regular stop for us anytime we go east. Oh, and it was very affordable, which is always nice!
