Delivery. Forgot cookie dough and forgot marinara and burnt roni rolls.
The music was blaring loud and gave me a headache. I couldn’t hear myself think or order. I understand wanting music, but that was utterly ridiculous.

Typical college pizza spot, not much to say about it. Food was good and the atmosphere was typical.

I went to the DP Dough in Blacksburg for many years, but more recently have been on Radford. I tried the Radford location long ago, and it was horrible, due to the people working the location (it was sketch, i will leave it at that). However, the owner fired all those folks and has a brand new set of employees now, and they are awesome. I have been multiple times with multiple different folks working, and both the food and service has been excellent. In particular, Charles has been very considerate preparing "cheesy bacon tots" for someone I know with a severe gluten allergy -- one of the few places we can go in this area!If you haven't given this location a try for a while due to a poor experience many months ago, definitely give it another try!
Dietary restrictions: Cheesy bacon tots can be made for those with gluten allergy. Seems safe so far.

Food was just plain nasty a waste of money,I understand why it's open late cause you would have to be drunk to eat that nasty food.

In the years since I have been ordering, D.P. Dough has never disappointed. It’s simple, delicious, and priced well for what you get. I will continue to give them my business for years to come and would recommend any pizza/calzone lover give them a try if you have one near you.

Ordered pickup on a Monday night the week of Thanksgiving so the place was dead, as all RU students have left for the holiday. Got 2 calzones and cheese sticks/bread. Calzones were ok. Could've used more ricotta cheese, but the cheese sticks were off the chain!! Will definitely order those again!

Ordered & food was received piping hot so that's a plus; ranch was store not restaurant made (which isn't a deal breaker but important to us ranch lovers); could've had more fillings tbh but overall not bad.

So I wanted to try something new, and decided why not D.P Dough.Sadly I'm not a fan at all. The cheese stix were, bread stix, with cheese. Those that understand what I mean will appreciate it when i say just don't get them lol.The calzone dough was BORDERLINE to uncooked on the inside, and more chewy than bubble gum on the outside. The best part of everything was the added parm on top of the calzone.I usually am not super rough on places my first time eating there, but this is one time, and only time I'll ever eat here. For a place whos whole menu is bread heavy foods, and have DOUGH in the name you would hope that they would do that well. But they don't. I always thought small menus with limited range of items was to help keep it simple and quality high due to no need to keep 30+ different dish recipes remembered. But I was wrong.

Ordered delivery, then 20 minutes later I received a call that they had no drivers. I asked if I came in if the delivery fee and tip could be taken off.. they told me their systems wouldn't allow it..... I ended up cancelling the order all together. I also asked for the owner to call me and never heard from them. I won't be ordering again!
Great food, open late. Excellent.
Took my son to college and wanted to try a restaurant we don’t have so I stopped by DP Dough. Price was better than most places these days. The food was good and there was a lot. The best part was the staff, especially Angel, seemed like they were happy to help. Excellent customer service guys. Good experience all around.
