Good food, unique yummy cocktails, outstanding service. Awesome 360° view if you can get there for sunset- do it!

No major complaints. Overall a good experience, and reasonable value. Steak was ordered medium well, and was just about the most well done it could've been. Atmosphere and service are great. Appetizers are well thought out and prepared, as are cocktails. Main courses and sides are hit or miss, the salmon dish was well prepared, and had a variety or flavors, the steak was relatively bland. Excellent service.

Closest we have to fine dining in NRV. Salads and entrees were wonderful, dessert wasn't anything special but decent. Love the view, open concept, and service was attentive but not rushed or pushy. Need to try their brunch.

great view- drinks were done well-food was good- not a fan of the overall menu choices- would rather see a filet on there than three size choices on a ribeye- lots of burger options- lots of deep fried apps- but the food was cooked well. It was good-no complaints

The ribeye was the best part of the meal. We asked for our salads to be served as the starter but they came out with the entree. The croutons were from a box and you know that because they taste like cardboard-disappointing for a restaurant that claims to source local ingredients. The so-called roasted garlic mashed potatoes had no essence of garlic whatsoever. We shared that feedback with our server but she never closed the loop confirming our suspicion that we were mislead. All the cocktails on the menu had sweet ingredients which was also disappointing so we opted for straight up martinis. Nice location but the place needs some work.

We really enjoyed our dinner, the corn bread puppies were the topic of conversation for a good portion of the night. The service seems to have changed a bit. They never acknowledged that it was my husband's birthday (was written in the reservation). Server was nice but did not seem very personable. The hostess was sweet and seemed very friendly 😁 Overall we had a good experience and we will return.

A nice setting and good food. The staff was friendly and helpful. We would definitely go again. Having a restaurant of this quality in a hotel is a plus.

We usually go to celebrate at this restaurant and always make a reservation. This time we were sat in an area with a limited amount of lighting, low lighting, and zero lighting within an 8ft perimeter of our entire table with a dark window at our backs. We asked the manager for a table light/candle/anyting, he just shrugged his shoulders and avoided us the whole night. It was so bad we had to get camping lights from our car just to see the food while we ate. It also took about 2 hours to get our food. This was the first time we ate there at night. My recommendation is to go during the day time if you actually want to see your food and the people at your table...or bring a few lamps.

Our food was delicious. Our waitress, Abby, gave great recommendations and was very attentive. Everything came out perfectly. The ambience was really nice with a beautiful view overlooking Radford University and the mountains. We have dined multiple times at Bee and Butter and will definitely return.

Absolute hidden gem! Excellent choice for brunch before or after Radford or Virginia Tech events. Interesting menu with exciting options and huge portions. Salmon BLT, Eggs Benedict with fried green tomatoes! French Toast with Bananas and Nutella. A la carte menu is so economical, build your burrito or omelette too. Not to mention a stunning view of the Redford campus and the New River Valley. It's on the 6th floor of the Highlander Hilton. Don't miss it! Well worth it!

We stayed at the hotel for VT parents weekend and our dinner at Bee & Butter was a highlight! We loved the hush puppies and the salads and salmon were delicious, too. We took some great family pictures from the outdoor area. The service was excellent. Would definitely come again!

Bee & Butter is a great spot in Radford with beautiful rooftop views and outdoor seating. It's located on the 6th floor of a new hotel, though it was a little tricky to find since there's no clear signage. Service was excellent despite the restaurant being short-staffed—it was a bit slow, but the staff was attentive and accommodating. Appetizers were the highlight: the pickle fries and cornbread puppies were delicious. Entrees were decent but not particularly flavorful, and my steak wasn't prepared as ordered. That said, they fixed it right away without hesitation. Overall, the atmosphere is excellent, service was warm, and the apps are worth coming back for. Entrees are more average, but it's still a solid dining experience—4 stars.

Must of caught them on a bad day—the one woman training the other forgot to make my coffees. When I saw two other people who were behind me get their order, I went up to get mine, which hadn’t been started yet. The woman eventually handed me a cold “latte” and a cold drip coffee. Had to just give it back because I couldn’t drink cold
Milk when I needed coffee.

The dinner menu is limited to six options, but my ribeye steak was good and my wife enjoyed her salmon meal. We had a good view from our inside top floor table, and our waitress was very pleasant.
