Not a chain! This is the best Sharkey’s I’ve been to in terms of food, service, and beer list. While it may not be on the Manhattan Beach pier or a random strip mall - and instead is nestled in the Radford university adjacent area, after some beers and a delicious bison burger, I left thoroughly satisfied.
The restaurant itself is huge - in a past life it was a furniture store. You could easily play a game of football on the first floor. They also run tons of specials— like on Mondays all burgers are buy one get one free. It’s also packed- with locals and students having a great time. Lots of tvs and great service. What’s not to love?

Fun, good food, very relaxing. Very good waiter and good drinks to celebrate the end of another year for our 2 girls at Radford. This is a great staple for the college town. See yall in the fall

Best bar I have ever been to!! I love Sharkeys. The prices for happy hour can't be beat! I love their buy one get one free burger Mondays, and Bingo on Tuesday is amazing! The staff is always kind, and the atmosphere is very welcoming and fun. When the upstairs is open on the weekends my friends and I have a lot of fun! Lots of vegetarian options as well. I would highly recommend coming here.
