Due to a closure on I-81 south, we escaped the backup by ducking into town to take an alternate route south around the closure and ended up here for lunch. My $5 biggie bag was solid with a very good bacon cheeseburger, hot salty fries and decent chicken nuggets. Love the not 1 but 2 Coca Cola Freestyle machines. My wife thought her baked potato and chili were very good. The guy behind the counter had a good sense of humor. The free chocolate Frosty is always a plus.
Peppers ferry location across from Wal-Mart. I swear the meat gets smaller and the price goes up. I ordered 2 small hamburgers. It was 90% bread and 10% meat. Unreal. Not sure I will eat at Wendys any longer.
We went to this Wendy's for lunch and had to wait for 6 minutes for our food because they had to cook the chicken for my salad(understandable). They brought it out and upgraded my salad to a whole, upgraded my fries, AND gave me a frosty! Excellent service! Way to set the example! Very kind and pleasant.
