The tuna special was outstanding. This is my new local sushi place. Well staffed with five sushi chefs!

Great sushi!

My uncle's favorite spot to take guests whenever they were visiting. Every time has always been delicious.

This has to be the top sushi place around the DMV area. The sushi is always fresh and high quality. I love coming here because it never disappoints me!!!

Amazing sushi! We lived in California for many years and didn't think we'd find as good of a sushi in this area, but Ariake is as good as it gets. Fantastic sushi quality and excellent rolls. Great tempura, teryaki, and udon as well. Definitely recommend.

We arrived at 8:45-8:50 and placed our order. I wanted to add another item and I was told at 9:10 that they were taking last orders which was fine. I didn't want to add anything else at that point. Our order arrived within minutes which. Was really nice but we noticed at 9:25 the staff was putting up chairs and cleaning. My wife and I had a bit of food left and we also had to feed our 2 kids. At 9:35 the restaurant was empty and the staff was scam ling around us making it known to us that they are closing and want us to hurry up. Me being me I scarfed down my 7 pieces of sushi but my wife had quite a bit left. Our waitress came and took our soy sauce which we needed back and I had to ask her for it. They left the bill on the side of the table while I was eating. I had to take my card out and leave it for them. I understand we were the last family there but I did pay $100 plus for food for me and my family. I felt rushed and unwanted right at 9:30. As soon as we left the restaurant the staff literally rushed out behind us. Truly a bad experience for my wife. I never had this level of service at the Fairfax location. The owner there is very nice and always welcoming

Ariake in Reston has been our go-to sushi spot for years, and we always leave happy. The sushi is super fresh, beautifully prepared, and consistently delicious. We love the cozy atmosphere with big windows that make it feel inviting and relaxed, perfect for both date nights and casual dinners. The staff is friendly and attentive, making sure we have everything we need without hovering. Whether it’s the classic nigiri or one of their spicy rolls, every dish is on point, and the miso soup is always a comforting start. If you’re in Reston and craving quality Japanese food, Ariake is definitely worth a visit.

Great service and quality eats at an incredible local sushi spot. It's not a small lot, but parking can be tight at times. That just speaks to how popular this place is within the neighborhood.

Been here a few times and it's a special place. The staff are always nice. The sushi is fresh and priced reasonably, and the atmosphere is nice. It's also nice because it's a standalone restaurant, not in a strip mall like so many places. It's definitely my go-to place for sushi in Reston now.
