We’ve dined here for many years and it’s always a pleasure. In fact, it’s one of our favorite restaurants. Dishes are delicious, consistently prepared, and in the off chance something goes awry, the staff is quick to remedy the issue.
Speaking of the staff, they are hands down some of the friendliest and hard working around. The team seems to really enjoy their work and working together, which is proven by higher number of people who stay on for longer than the norm in the restaurant business.

Lilly, our hostess, was awesome! She suggested a delicious wine for our group and was very attentive to our needs. It was our wedding anniversary and she gave us free desserts for the table. The food was incredible! I prefer to eat a variety of flavors instead of one main meal and everything tasted great. Always a treat dining at Barcelona. I highly recommend it. Seems like there is something for everyone.

On Saturday 10/18, we had the pleasure of dining at Barcelona in Reston Town Center, VA. This was not our first time at Barcelona, in fact it is one of our favorite places to dine. We love going to the restaurant for both as a place to bring friends and when we want a special night out just for us.
While the food, is always excellent, we were excited to try some of the new items on the menu. Our server, Tim was fantastic and helped us navigate the new items and made some great suggestions. Some favorites that we had were Duck Magret, Délice de Bourgogne (a wonderful cheese), and the pork cheeks. We think the pork cheeks was the best new item and it was similar to short ribs, but a little different.
The one item that we are hoping is that they will change is the octopus dish back will return back to the traditional grilled octopus approach. All in all a fantastic dinner and experience.

We had a fantastic time in Barcelona. The tapas were wonderful and they have an amazing wine and cocktail selection. Top service, great crowd and lively atmosphere. We really enjoyed the fun vibe, plus, they had excellent music playing. Definitely check this place out!

The Reston location is not very nice if you have been to others. We called ahead to see if they had the fall paella with butter squash and they said they did. We went and it was not even close to the butternut squash one. This one has green beans, no garbanzos, etc.
The service was only so so, poor tables (think cheesecake factory) and no physical menus. Would save your money on this one or go to DC.

Barcelona Wine Bar used to be one of our favorite spots, but last night was off. We had reservations, as we know it gets crowded on the weekends. We were seated at a tiny table in the side dining area. That was the first problem. It’s a tapas bar. With wine, small plates, water, etc., there was no room to really enjoy anything. I was constantly afraid of knocking something over. The music was very loud and the restaurant was overly crowded. Fewer, mid-sized tables would have been better than squeezing tiny tables everywhere just to seat everyone. The service was exceptional slow, and because of where we were seated, servers were constantly squeezing by us to get to other tables. At least twice, food was delivered to us that we didn’t order because of table numbering confusion. The food was delicious as always, and we’ll probably give it another shot, but not on the weekends.

Barcelona Restaurant in Reston is a beautiful place, especially the outdoor patio area — perfect for enjoying nice weather with a lovely view of Reston Town Center and the park. The food is really good, with a great variety of small tapas-style dishes, and the prices are quite reasonable.
They also have an excellent wine selection, and the overall atmosphere is warm and lively. It can get a bit noisy inside since it’s usually busy, but that’s part of the energy of the place. Overall, a very nice restaurant and a great spot to relax and enjoy good food and wine.
