Had a wonderful weekend lunch at Barcelona Wine Bar with a friend, and everything about the experience was spot on. We sat outside on the patio, which had a relaxed, stylish vibe — perfect for catching up over good food and wine.
The service was attentive and friendly, with great recommendations throughout. We ordered a variety of tapas to share, and everything was delicious. Highlights included the jamón mangalica — rich and buttery, the croquetas — perfectly crispy and creamy, the hanger steak — cooked just right and full of flavor, and the meatballs — hearty, tender, and super satisfying.
We also loved that you can build your own meat and cheese board and order wines by the 3oz pour — such a great way to explore different wines without committing to a full glass. The wine list had a diverse, well-curated selection, and we had fun trying a few new ones.
Another big plus: plenty of parking in a nearby garage, free on weekends, which makes getting in and out a breeze.
Overall, this spot hits all the right notes for a casual yet elevated lunch. Great food, service, wine, and atmosphere — I’d absolutely come back.

I have been coming here for many years, and have enjoyed both food and service in Barcelona. But I do need to mention that lately this place got even better, from the extensive menu, to amazing service by the staff and great, warm, management team! Go Reston!
It's always super packed. Hard to get a table or bar space. Staff, food and decorations are terrific.

Excellent service! I have to say that I’m not really into the Spanish Tapas, but we went for a birthday. It was a lot better than expected! Big portions, good drinks, lots of desserts! Try the Arroz con Leche; it was a huge hit!
They also have HUGE kids meals not on a menu, just ask.
WOW!!!!! Enjoyed Barcelona Wine and Bar in Reston, VA for lunch with my son this week!! As a first timer, I was so impressed by the delicious food, incredible variety, and great service from our waiter, Gregg! This is a special place!!! Thank you to Amy and Enzo for giving us information about ordering the delicious olive oil cake for Thanksgiving!!! We so look forward to returning to Barcelona’s and already plan to buy gift cards for Christmas gifts!!! Great job all!!! We will be back!!! ❤️❤️

We enjoy going to date night here. The food is great, especially the paella and empanadas. We've talked to two managers so far and each of them have been super friendly, knowledgeable, and part of the team.
Came here for work lunch. Love that they offer 3oz wine portion. 2 of us ordered 4 tapas and we were stuffed. Loved it and would come back again.

We enjoyed very much the food and atmosphere. Manager tonight made us feel welcome and we had a great conversation. If you enjoy different type of food on smaller servings tapas is the way to go. We definitely go back soon

This is hands down our favorite restaurant in the Reston Town Center and in Nova! They specialize in small tapas plates all from Barcelona, Spain. It's really an amazing concept where you can try a number of small dishes and even share with the table. They recommend 2-3 per person. Each tapas plate is a small bit good size portion. We usually get about 5-6 plates total for two people and leave very full and satisfied. They come out within minutes and you don't have to order all at once. It's nice to keep a menu behind and order just an item or two, eat it and then order the next. We also love the small 3 ounce wine pour samples to try a variety of the different wines. We absolutely love that they change up the menu every couple months so you get new dining experiences each time. It makes it exciting to go back each time and see how they've tweaked some of our favorite menu items or completely added new ones. We've also had 4 - meat platter which was absolutely delicious. The main dishes take a bit longer but are worth the wait. We love, love, love Barcelona!!
