I cannot recommend this place enough - it truly hits the mark for any occasion, whether it be a casual hangout, romantic date, important business meeting, or catching up with friends. The ambiance is lively and vibrant, creating an atmosphere that is both energetic and comfortable. And let me tell you, the service here is unparalleled. The staff truly goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome and taken care of. Even without a reservation, we were accommodated with ease. The hostess offered us a table, but we opted for the bar instead. Our bartender, Denisse, was an absolute gem. She was warm, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. She recommended some fantastic cocktails and dishes that we simply couldn't resist. We started with the passionfruit mezcalita, which was so refreshing that we ordered multiple rounds. And then, we dove into the menu. I decided to try a variety of tacos, and let me tell you - they did not disappoint. The roasted duck taco had a wonderful tamarind glaze and caramelized onions that added the perfect touch of sweetness. The pork belly taco was spicy and flavorful, and the crispy oyster taco was crunchy and delicious. The Baja fish taco, with its spicy tempura-battered cod and chipotle slaw, was an absolute standout. I loved it so much that I ordered four more! My girlfriend went for the chips and salsa verde, which were perfectly seasoned and fresh. She also ordered the chicken tacos, which were juicy and flavorful. And of course, we couldn't resist trying the cheese steak taco with Oaxaca cheese - it was a total winner. Overall, I can confidently say that this restaurant is a must-visit. The freshly squeezed pomegranate juice Paloma with tequila was the perfect finishing touch to an already incredible meal. Don't miss out on this gem in the Reston Town Center.

Very busy , and nice atmosphere, but the tacos are not very big for the prices they charge. Very bland for what they are trying to present. Drinks were mediocre. A place to try once, but will talk people out of if they want to go.

First of all I had two free taco chips which they didn't take off my bill and I had to do the math to make sure that they actually charge me the right amount. Second of all, I asked for no cilantro and any of my tacos and they all came with it so then I had to peel that off as well. Tacos are delicious. The drinks are watered down but I probably won't be back

Literally some of the best and kindest service at this Bartaco location. I would highly recommend, plus the food is amazing and came out quickly.

Our tacos were really good. They're not the cheapest for their size, but they came out fast and were tasty. There's plenty of garage parking close and the area around is walkable and cute. You order from your phone and keep a tab going, so you can add more tacos or whatever else. They have a good selection of both alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks as well.

Bartaco is great for its proximity and delicious pork belly. Perfect for weekend socializing, but it gets crowded. However, the menu could offer more variety. Overall, I appreciate its convenience.

Everything was fine until a manager started to interrogate my friend about her service dog. We went to wait outside so not to disturb anyone and after we have waited our allotted time, we come in to find out they took us off the list?!? She is suppose to be a manager and acted very unprofessional. Here's a tip... understand the laws and regulations of the state of Virginia. She just made herself look stupid.

Food is overpriced and service is ok, ambiance is for elderly people and a bit quiet!

I went to Bartaco yesterday for lunch with a friend and the service was horrendous. We sat at the bar and the bartender took about 20 minutes to get our food order even though it was around 1pm and pretty empty. On top of this he never checked up on us so we mainly had to get help from another server. However, the main reason I am writing this review is because I have been vegetarian for 12 years. I had ordered two lettuce mushroom wrapped tacos and two cauliflower pistachio tacos. To my surprise I had bitten into something crunchy and chewy for the mushroom taco which did not taste right. I took out most of it to find it was a piece of chicken. I know people make mistakes and food supplies get mixed around but there were several pieces of chicken in my taco ! I had finally flagged down our server and let him know and he did not seem to care and said he could take it off the bill. As if one comp three dollar taco is going to make me feel better for not eating meat for over 12 years. Overall the service needs to improve at this establishment because employees are careless and the unhappy to be there.

This place is interesting having been a frequent customer when they first opened compared to now. Their online menu ordering is nice If you don't like interaction with wait staff, but feels like dine in delivery otherwise. Had a lunch meeting with colleagues and we all ordered on our own with one tab.Food was tasty (but pricey)Dealing with rtc parking is still an annoying hinderanceCocktails were OKAs I write this I'm questioning my rating and bumped it down to 4 overall. A fine experience but better more convenient places to go in the area.Vegetarian options: The cauliflower tacos were probably the favorite of the items I tried. And I had the pork belly it had more flavor!Parking: Parking in Reston town center is awful. I truly just avoid unless I'm forced to for a work function.

Usually a great experience. We were sat at a table meant for 2 people therefore we were incredibly uncomfortable. When I asked about a table across from us we were told it was the same size and it clearly wasn't. The host, Paco, offered us a table beside the window but warned us if it gets too cold there's nothing he could do.He did tell us there's a 45 minute wait for another table. This is my last time coming here. I'll find tacos elsewhere.

Great food and drink. Spotty service. I would go more if the service was better. I always ask about the secret taco. This is a very loud restaurant.
