This Ben & Jerry's holds a special place in my heart, and I've been coming here for over fifteen years now. What started as childhood trips with my parents has turned into a personal tradition that I still enjoy as an adult.
One of my favorite memories from being a kid was how generous the staff was with samples. I remember walking up to the counter, barely tall enough to see over it, and the workers would patiently let me try flavor after flavor until I found the perfect one. What amazes me is that nothing has changed - I'm now in my twenties, and the employees are just as friendly about letting me sample different flavors before I decide. There's something really heartwarming about that consistency. Over the years, I've settled into three favorites that I rotate between. Half Baked is probably my number one - the combination of cookie dough and brownie pieces is absolutely perfect. Cherry Garcia has this classic appeal with those sweet cherry chunks that never gets old. And Americone Dream with its caramel swirl and waffle cone pieces always feels like a special treat.
But honestly, the ice cream is only part of the experience. The real magic happens when you take your scoop outside to one of the little tables and just watch the world go by. Reston Town Center always has this pleasant energy - families walking around, people heading to dinner, kids playing in the open areas. It's the perfect spot for people-watching while you enjoy your ice cream.
The absolute best seats are the ones near the Mercury fountain. There's something so peaceful about sitting there with your ice cream, listening to the water and watching people stroll past. I've spent countless afternoons there over the years, from dealing with teenage drama to processing adult life challenges. That fountain area has become my go-to spot for thinking and unwinding.
This place represents consistency in the best way possible. Good ice cream, friendly service, and a perfect location that feels like the heart of the community. Whether you're a kid trying ice cream for the first time or an adult looking for a moment of simple pleasure, this Ben & Jerry's delivers every time.

Ben & Jerry’s has always been my go-to for indulgent, high-quality ice cream, and this visit just reminded me why. The flavors are bold, creative, and absolutely delicious—Chunky Monkey and Half Baked never fail me. The store was spotless, and everything was well-stocked and fresh.
But what really made this visit stand out was the amazing service from Anderson. From the moment I walked in, he greeted me with a warm smile and a positive attitude. He was super knowledgeable about all the flavors, offered samples without hesitation, and even gave great recommendations based on what I liked. You could tell he genuinely cared about creating a great experience.
Anderson made a simple ice cream stop feel special, and that kind of service is rare. Give that man a raise!
Will definitely be back soon—both for the ice cream and the outstanding customer care.

We usually love Ben & Jerry’s, and the ice cream definitely didn’t disappoint — it tasted great as always. However, this visit wasn’t the best experience when it came to service. The line was really long, and only one employee seemed to be helping customers while the others were chatting amongst themselves. It was also hard communicating our orders — we had to repeat things multiple times because they weren’t really paying attention.
Hopefully it was just an off day, because the ice cream itself was excellent. A little more focus on customer service would’ve made the visit much better.

I was a little disappointed because you never get to find an actual Ben and Jerry's store. I know around the corner in any direction is other ice cream stores that would have had better tasting items. But fun to visit if you're an old school Ben and Jerry's fan like me. Cheers

Employees were super nice, but cookies & cream tasted awful. There was one bigger cookie in my two scoops and it tasted so bad I threw it away.

Great taste indeed, need to have more varieties, i tried the chunky monkey and it was really great, banana with fudge chunks and walnut, great mix indeed, highly recommended

Felt kind of weird ordering an ice cream cone in December, but we had some free vouchers from a while ago and decided if not now, then when. The employees were super nice and the place was very clean and organized.
