This place has been a family go-to for years, and they never disappoint! The staff are very friendly and courteous, making us feel welcomed every visit. The food is always on point and service is super quick. Definitely recommend!
A lousy experience:
On Saturday, the restaurant was unusually busy with a full house (a singing and dancing party, a financial boon in these difficult times), so we decided to sit outside: the lady manager (owner?) obviously did not approve of our sitting outdoors as it meant having her staff being distracted from serving the $$$ crowd indoors.
After we ordered a simple meal, we had to wait 45 minutes to be served.
In the interval, bread was brought, and the lady manager (owner?) promptly came to withdraw the bread basket saying we “didn’t want it” (we guessed it meant we had not ordered it specifically).
Quite rude.
If service staff was overwhelmed because of the crowd in the restaurant, then instead of being so unpleasant, the manager should have declined any additional customers.
We have frequented this restaurant for the past four years, we will not patronize it anymore.
Excellent meal and excellent service! All of the food was top notch and amongst the best that we had. The service was already very attentive and we never felt like we had to really wait for anything that we needed. It's a very local atmosphere in Lake Anne and they have a nice patio area and the inside of the restaurant is also very comfortable and well decorated. We will definitely be back!
Great spot for light French fare.
Escargot appetizer had generous amount of snails with a perfect mushroom sauce to dip the bread. Mussels moulinaire with linguini had fresh tender sweet mussels over al dente pasta. And the creme brulee was rich and fabulous with a hard shell. Atmosphere crisp. modern and made me feel like a cafe in Montmartre.
Intimate yet friendly restaurant, food was delicious and staff was awesome.
Had lunch here today. The spinach quiche was the best that I have ever had. Served with a very fresh and delicious salad.
outside dining is among the best in town.

Space was great, service was fine and mostly attentive, food was hit or miss. Had the shrimp dish and it was nothing to write home about. The escargot was good and the pho was good. Ordered Vietnamese coffee, which was good.

Gorgeous brunch with very friendly staff. The food is great and the service is very good. The younger waitress was very family friendly and talked through options and spoke to our son about what he’d like. She also brought out games for the family to play. Excellent!

I would say the seafoods are not very fresh. The food is overpriced for the quality. The service is good, and we enjoyed the nice weather and lake view.
