The locations are not all equal. The food is above average but they made an error in my order with no attempt to fix it. The bottled hot sauce is 5/5 and the only thing keeping the rating as high as it is.
This is hands down my favorite restaurant. I crave tacos everyday now thanks to Taco Zocalo. And the best part? IT'S FULLY HALAL! The food tastes so fresh and unprocessed. The menu has a variety of options and something for everyone. The flavor is unbeatable. My only complaint is that the restaurant runs a little hot, but if that issue gets resolved, good luck getting me out of here! First time seeing this place, but I knew what I wanted immediately. Loaded fresh birria tacos, the most satisfying in northern Virginia. Ask for hot sauce upgrades! I didn't dip these because they seem perfect as served. Get some tres leches to soothe the sizzle.
