It's funny how you'll get dinged by Open Table if you don't show up for your reservation but there is ZERO communication from Open Table if you make a reservation and you show up to the restaurant and find it's permanently closed. And there are other groups who have also made a reservation standing outside the restaurant scratching their heads. So I'd say - yeah. It was a negative one star experience. Non-existent.

Clydes of Reston is CLOSED! Permanently! Other Clyde's sites are still open, and the food never disappoints. The issue is not with Clyde's of Reston; the issue is with OPEN TABLE. Unfortunately, OPEN TABLE would not allow us to make another reservation in the area. Had a good anniversary dinner at another establishment, but without OPEN TABLE points.

Disappointed

Booked a reservation at Clyde's Reston. Our reservation was accepted. Arrived only to find the location had recently closed down permanently. Very frustrating as we had a family celebration planned. OpenTable and Clyde's needs to update their information to avoid these issues.

Yesterday was Clyde's of Reston' last day of business. Our meal was a bittersweet experience since we had eaten there for most of the 30 years they were in business. The service and food was wonderful. Hopefully, they will find a new spot somewhere else in the Reston area to open a new spot.

Dining at Clyde's of Reston for the last time Saturday the 21st was sad, yet I remembered all of the wonderful company, meals and conversations I've had there over the years. It will ALWAYS be my favorite restaurant of all time, and it can never be replaced. The patio dining was superb, the service was excellent, the ambiance was unmatched, and the food absolutely mouthwatering. I remember how years ago, the host (Christina) would give me VIP treatment, as well as Samantha who waited on me then eventually transferred to the bar. I simply can't express how much this restaurant has meant to me and my family. I spent countless Saturday evenings there after evening service at my church and then after an amazing meal, would head to BowTie Cineman for a movie. My family and I would always come to Clyde's for Christmas Eve dinner, and my Mom loved their crabcakes - it was such a special time! I'll never forget you, Clyde's of Reston - BEST RESTAURANT EVER!

The best — will miss this place, literally grew up going here the last 30 years (gasp) and it feels like the end of an era. Hoping to see Clyde's back in Reston and Tyson's sometime soon! Thank you for all the memories, kindnesses and delicious meals.

I have been going to the Reston Clyde's since 1993. We've celebrated birthdays, anniversaries, New Year's Eve, Christmas and other holidays, and just dinner and a movie. We went to every Oktoberfest when they used to host them and it's always been one of my most favorite area restaurants. I am so, so sad this location is closing and to see another great restaurant close at Reston Town Center. RTC is a shadow of its former self and no longer the destination it used to be. It's somewhat consoling that the other Clyde's restaurants remain, Georgetown, the Hamilton, Clyde's Willow Creek, and Clyde's Penn Quarter, and I'll continue to visit each often. In the meantime, to the outstanding staff, thank you for all the memories.

Met up with my sister for lunch, which meant we would be eating and lingering. Our waiter, Jason, was attentive without hovering and patient while we made up our minds. Enjoyed salmon salad and fried chicken bowl, along with purple rain and summer spritz. All lovely.

We went since itvis closing. Used to really enjoy it there. Steak was excellent the rest of the food was on the skimpy side. Paying $38 for the filet meal - would have been nice to have more substance with the sides. We were a little disappointed in general. And chalked it up to them closing next week.

Came here from out of town to meet co-workers. This place is great and the grilled chicken sandwich was so filling that I did not even need to eat dinner that night! Outdoor seating is a big plus!

So very sad that this staple is closing. Shame on Reston Town Center for not figuring out a way to keep Clyde's!! So many nameless, tasteless chains. Clyde's is an original product of the area and beloved by so many.

Another lovely Sunday brunch at Clyde's. After more than 30 years in Reston, I'm so sorry it's our last. The food was delicious; the service very attentive and friendly. Just a great dining experience.

Disappointed...We booked the Mother's Day Brunch reservation expecting a special brunch menu, like so many other restaurants offered, but Clyde's only offered their traditional Sunday brunch menu.

Sad to see them gone, it was always a bit loud for my taste and the food isn't the greatest, but their allergy policies are a life saver and there's always something for everyone.

Work party of nine. I had a glass of Oregon Pinot. We shared several apps: Brussels Sprouts were good and so was the calamari. Entree was a large chicken salad with pecans and dried cherries. I finished it! But the best thing was the Chai tea crème brûlée. Heaven in a dish. I haven't been to a Clyde's since 1993.. the one in Georgetown. This was nice.
