Overall, a fantastic experience at Cooper's Hawk! The rest and location is much better than Ashburn location, service and ambience. Overall, the menu could use some updates, most items are very heavy and fat and oils, a healthier tank would be appreciated. All the wines were fantastic too. Tasting is very generous.
Came specifically to try the French toast and definitely did not disappoint. The candied bacon was delicious as well. The maple sausage was made in-house however not a fan of the rosemary or sage. It was a bit much for my preference. But if that is your cup of tea, you should try it. I've been in search of different restaurants in the area looking for a good French toast. This creme brulee French toast is top of the list! If you love French toast and creme brulee, definitely recommended.
Took a little while for the servers to get to us as they weren't sure which one of them had our table. The house salad was not the best, looked like maybe what they had left at that time of the night and the short ribs have always been a favorite of mine, but they were a little stringy and food wasn't hot when it arrived at the table. The Ashburn location is better as well.
We enjoyed several Wine O'Clock appetizers that were delicious, and the $8 glasses of international wines is a great deal!
Despite being a frequent customer and wine club member on this particular day I went to pickup a lunch order and was ignored by staff, no one greeted me nor did they ask for if I needed help. When I went to get help both hostess told me just to wait and no one came for another 10 minutes, and the hostess basically ignored me sat on their phone and engaged with other guest. This was extremely upsetting to me

We had a reservation for 3 for an early dinner. The hostess showed us to a table that immediately overlooked the street and the road. We politely asked to be seated in a more intimate setting, which obviously offended the hostess, after which she led us to a table adjacent to the kitchen. This lent itself to an immediate view of a garbage can and an endless stream of waiters, as well as the incessant clank of dishes and utensils, above which it was impossible to have a conversation. This spoiled our mood, but we decided not to pursue the matter out of respect for other guests in similar positions. From this point, we just hoped to move on and enjoy the food, but sadly this was also a disappointment (apart from the appetizers). Our waitress was courteous and sweet, but our 'braised beef' entrees were obviously boiled rather than braised, and the vegetables were burnt but not cooked through. We strongly advise to reconsider when deciding upon a dinner venue, and if this is not possible, to request seating area 80.

Usually Cooper's hawk food and service are both great. Last night, our appetizer salad arrived one minute before the hot main entrees. Water was refilled one time when it was the only drink we were having. When we told the server we were finished with our meal but planned to stay and finished our conversation, he came back twice asking if we were finished but didn't clear our empty plates. Given it was 830 and there were open tables, I'm not sure of the rush.
Always a wonderful experience!! The food and service was awesome!!! The waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable. I definitely recommend this restaurant and wine club membership.

We had a fantastic experience at Cooper's Hawk Reston this past Saturday for a dinner with my sister. The ambiance was exactly what we were looking for: lively and modern, yet still comfortable enough for a relaxed, intimate conversation. Our server, was incredibly attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. They were especially helpful with recommending the pitcher of peach Sangria and guiding us through the wine list. For the meal, the food was perfectly prepared and generously portioned. I ordered the Prime Churrasco Grilled Steak (Chimichurri-Rubbed Skirt Steak) and my sister had the Surf & Turf and Scallop Gratin. Everything was outstanding. We also thoroughly enjoyed the wine, sampling the Vin Velouté (a velvety smooth red blend with Malbec) and the Nightjar Port-Style Wine. The sampling was a real highlight and both wines paired beautifully with our entrées. Overall, it was a delightful evening, offering great food, fantastic service, and a consistent, high-quality dining experience. We highly recommend this location!
Appetizers and desserts were great, mains were anywhere from good to very good. Server was MIA most of our 2+ hour meal—long delays in getting drinks, bread, water, ordering, etc. Energetic and somewhat noisy —which was good for our multigenerational family
The Brussels sprouts dish was not very good and the sauce was not good at all. All other lunch items were good.
CHW is my consistent, reliable go to. I am always pleased to see long-time bar employees. My guest were very pleased with the food and service. Thank You CHW!
Everything was exceptional from our server Jerry, to the many dishes we shared, to the scrumptious lux tasting. It was a wonderful afternoon!
