This restaurant is truly exceptional. The food is always fresh and delicious. I have used them for catering multiple times and it is equally good. Moreover, when you died in the restaurant, the owner and his wife are wonderful hosts. Do not judge a book by its cover. Go inside and enjoy the magnificent food and you will be blown away.
The food is excellent but they prioritize online orders. Came in with 5 friends to dine in and food took a 35-40 min to come out. We saw a bunch of delivery orders go out while we were waiting for our food which was frustrating especially after we all gave a 20pct tip before even getting the food. I regret tipping that much and then waiting forever for the food. Should ask for tip after eating like a normal restaurant.

Wanted to purchase a baklava and when I put my number in for rewards, it prompts me to ask the cashier to redeem the 100 points. She doesn’t know what to do so she asks the manager and he tells her to give me a cookie instead.
I came in for a baklava, not a cookie. Not coming back here again.

My husband has been going to Grill Kabob in Reston for years, even though there are several Afghan restaurants much closer to where we live. He happily drives nearly an hour away because the food there is consistently exceptional—it’s truly a treat every time. We always order the Koobideh Chicken, and it is absolutely out of this world, especially if you love a bold, spicy flavor. Nothing else compares.
Their service is second to none. After a small mix-up with our order last weekend once we got home, we spoke with Kali, who was incredibly friendly, gracious, and apologetic. They went above and beyond to make things right the next time we visited, and they delivered exactly as promised.
We’re continually impressed by the warmth of the staff, the outstanding quality of the food, and the way they genuinely care about their customers. Grill Kabob has earned our loyalty, and we’ll gladly keep making the drive for such excellent service and unforgettable meals!
