Kabob was overcooked, burnt and super dry. The asparagus is just three spears. Chicken was dry as well. Maybe they had a bad night? I won't eat there again as there are too many good tavernas nearby.

Kalypso's played a very important role in my life in 2023 - they hosted my wedding reception, and the experience was so great that my partner and I celebrated New Year's Eve there as well! The location, first of all, is fantastic. I've dined and hung around Lake Anne scores of times. The restaurant is warm, inviting and always sets the scene for a great time no matter what time of day or season it is.The food is absolutely outstanding - particularly the spanakopita and the lamb chops. The flaming cheese is not bad either!Service is always heartfelt and striving to do their best for their guests. You really don't feel like a nameless customer here -- it is more like you are a guest in someone's home.Our wedding reception was beautifully arranged. Vicky (the owner) made sure all 175+ guests left happy - no expense spared. And it was just the perfect setting - outdoors, a bit of a chill in the air, perfect lighting and top notch food.Kalypso's is like home away from home for us and we will keep going back!

Kalypso's is in a nice location and is a nice place to eat outdoors. The food and service where average. My biggest complaint is I left my Visa there while visiting from out of town (not sure if it was brought out when I signed the bill - but maybe my bad.) When I called the next day to come pick it up they knew nothing about it. When I called the next week they said they had it in their hand. They told me they would send it to me but it never arrived. Such a pain to cancel the card and re-set up all my recurring charges. WHY IS THERE NO PROCEDURE FOR WHEN A CUSTOMER LEAVES THEIR CARD??
