This one in Reston is not a great kft location, I’d skip on this one and go to a different boba shop.There was a young Hispanic girl working there who made my drink wrong on accident, she realized this probably after she made it, but then gave it to me anyways. I could tell she knew because her face gave it away (she immediately smirked and no apology) when I told her it was the wrong drink.That was shockingly immature - makes me wonder if she is old enough/qualified to be working there.Also had a negative experience with the Korean female cashier who appeared to be doing school work and rushing me to order. So not the first negative experience I’ve had here.

Kung fu tea is my favorite boba tea place but this location is the worst. I ordered a drink with boba and 40% sugar and there was no sugar and no boba in the drink. My friends got the same drinks and I had them try mine and they agreed on the no sugar taste. I asked the lady to add both of the missing items and she didn’t add sugar and only added 5 bobas. I was wearing a cultural clothing while my friends weren’t for reference.

I am not one to get upset easily but there is a sign in the store that says military, service personnel, firefighters, etc. get 10% off when they present their ID. I have done this before and had no issues. Today I showed the cashier my ID and they told me “only my manager knows how to do that, I cant give you the 10% off”. That’s actually crazy- either train your employees better or take down your sign because it’s a lie.Boba was okay- definitely had been sitting for a couple hours and wasn’t fresh because many of the pieces were hard and no longer chewy. I came at 7pm.

I used to come here quite frequently, but the service is always so slow no matter how busy they are and half the time my drinks were made incorrectly. Also the later at night, the louder and more inappropriate the music playing inside was. I love kung fu tea but this location is my least favorite

The server didn’t take the order properly. Gave aloe jelly instead of lychee jelly.When I pointed it out, the server didn’t acknowledge. Insisted “lychee jelly is the aloe jelly”; in what universe!!!Had to throw my drink.

Bubble we’re extremely hard and the person taking the orders got one of our orders incorrect and blamed it on me.
Every time i go out seems they find a new way to disappoint me. This time, the clerk at the register kept looking away and resuming a conversation with a coworker in the middle of me trying to even make an order, it was "cab i take your order?" And when i tried to speak he'd turn away and resume that conversation again. This happened twice before he actually paused to take my order. I ordered a large hersheys smore shush, it was large on the receipt, and they gave me a small and when i mentioned i ordered a large, they took the cap off, dumped it into a large, and doctored it up, it wasn't by the time i actually drank it before i noticed it was just the wad of the marshmallow from the small one clodded to the side of the cup, and the rest was basically water. It's a slush, a layered drink and it was pretty much the worst one I've had so far.

This is the worst Kung Fu Tea I've ever been to. First, the man taking orders was extremely rude and had a major attitude for no reason. I asked him if I needed to get a certain flavor in order to get the new Pikmin cup (the whole reason I even went there) and his attitude immediately dropped to almost angry and he gestured to the cups and said "well, it's all we HAVE, so yeah you'll get the cup". I don't WORK there, so WHY would I know that? What was the purpose of talking to me like that? Next, I've never waited that long for boba tea before. The place quickly became packed because they were taking so long. When the orders would finally be made, they were then setting them out without the order stickers on them, so no one knew what the drinks were and whose orders were whose. Every order that was handed out was being handed back by the customers because there was something wrong. My friend told them she didn't have the boba she ordered in her drink, so they took it back to add it, and we watched as the girl peeled back the lid with her BARE HANDS and dropped a few boba balls into it, yet this somehow also took that girl 5 minutes. So not only was it unsanitary, but her drink was also mostly melted because we waited so long. This was a horrible experience with incapable and rude employees, and I'll never come back to this location.

Kung Fu Tea has an interesting menu with new items added frequently. The service staff at this location are knowledgeable and helpful. There is a pleasant indoor atmosphere and ample outdoor seating on the side of the building. I especially like the Mango Milk Tea with Boba here. Try it (or something else) and you will not be disappointed.Parking: Some parking right out front and plenty of additional parking in the large parking lot nearby.Wheelchair accessibility: There are at least two accessible parking spaces, as well as an accessible entrance into the store.
