Amazing food and Papusas. Comes fresh off the kitchen

Rice pupusas are The Bomb! Baleadas are even better! We absolutely love this tiny hole in the wall place. (Ceviche is awesome, too.)

Don't waste your time with this place. Ordered a veggie burrito and two beef empanadas. Gentleman at the register says it will be 10-15 min. 25 min into waiting he tells me how busy they are and that it's lunch time etc. they weren't busy at all 40 min later I tell them I'm not going to wait more than 2 extra min. 5 minutes later I'm at the register asking for my money back and one of the cooks which btw isn't covering her face with her mask yells out that the food is ready. At this point I do t care if it's free or if it's the best food on earth. Customers came in and out and people that were there after me ordering at the register got their orders as well. Place is a COVID hazard in my opinion with one of the employees handling register with gloves and then food as well and cooks wearing a mask but not covering their faces with it. Stay away!

In looking at it I was racially profiled at this place as white and they where prejudice towards me for being white in a Mexican establishment. Shame on you guys for treating anybody disrespectfully the way you did me!!

I've lost count as to how many breakfast burritos we have had from here. The salsa that goes with it is so good. I wish I could buy it in bulk! Easy to order ahead and pick up. One of my favorite places in Reston.

This store closed and the new place is under a different name (La Miguelena Market 2)

Great food will go again

I love this place. All good is made from scratch before your eyes. I have eaten here many times and never had a bad meal. Burritos are great and are served with fresh avocado and rice and a papusa. I also love their ceviche. BeefsteakEnsenbollada is fantastic. Prices are very reasonable. Now days there are only 2 seats on a counter against the wall. At least that was as a month ago. When you want some really good food in the back of a convenience store, this is the place.

this is one of those places where you are pleasantly surprised....a local secret to me. Not the most stylish place but the Mexican food is my favorite around and its always good even worth the wait if needed

The bodega recently changed ownership and today is when their meat counter opened. I think I was the first customer and I bought a tri tip, an excellent cut of beef not carried by the local supermarkets.

On a hungry afternoon while waiting for my wife to finish her hair appointment, I found this place on yelp and the reviews from fellow yelpers nudged me to try out this place. I was right next to this place and could not spot it as it was blended into a grocery store. It felt like walking back in time as I entered the store. No fancy stuff, nothing exciting, but there is a busy kitchen on the back where i see people hanging out. Just this action was enough for me to order up a chicken quesadilla. It was good (I was already hungry by then, so anything would have tasted good). It's been a few months since I was there, so the experience sticks more than the taste of the food, but I wouldn't mind taking another visit if I am in the area and try out other items. Overall, it's a good place for a "no nonsense" platter.

Excellent food! 3 taco platter with beans and rice hit the spot. Side of chips and guacamole was equally delicious.
