MyHome Thai Bistro

“MyHome” is located in a quiet part of Reston with plenty of parking. It takes many visits to fully explore the menu, so start with your Thai favorites and go from there. Friendly staff. So glad to have this gem in the neighborhood, though it’s close to the toll road so easy to get to from further away.

Excellent Thai takeout. The green curry was flavorful and delicious. The pad Thai was authentic and not as sweet as so many others. Perfect.
We also had a pork curry, can’t remember the name sorry as it was very tasty.
Generous servings lots of rice to go with the sauces.
We will be back to try something else.

Just visited My Home Thai in Reston on my sister-in-law’s recommendation and wow—I’m so glad we did! This place is a gem.

The atmosphere is lovely—clean, upscale, and tastefully decorated. It feels welcoming the moment you walk in, and you can tell a lot of care went into both the space and the food.

We started with the Pan Fried Chive Cake, which came with a chili and sweet black soy vinegar dipping sauce. Absolutely delicious! For mains, I ordered the Chicken Pad Thai, which I highly recommend. It leaned a little sweeter than I expected, but still perfectly balanced and very satisfying. Our table also tried the Yellow Curry and My Home’s Som Tum (green papaya salad with shrimp and crispy catfish)—both were bursting with flavor and beautifully presented.

Portions were generous, prices were very reasonable, and everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared.

If you’re in Reston and love Thai food, definitely check this place out—I’ll 100% be back!

The food at myhome is awesome. The service is awesome. The ambience is awesome. There’s only one thing I wish they would change… I wish they would use recyclable or biodegradable containers for the to go food. At least you know like make it an option when someone orders you know how you can select whether or not you want utensils we should be able to select whether or not we want biodegradable or recyclable containers. Styrofoam… Bad. And one more item, I wish that the curry puff didn’t have chicken in it. It is delicious, but I wish it was vegetarian or just you know not chicken.

Not sure about the food because we were unable to get a parking space. Because of the motels hog all the parking and there is VERY LIMITED PARKING outside of the restaurant!!!

Good food, good portion but bad customer service if you are by yourself. They cant be bothered with checking on you or even hearing when you yell for help across the store. And if they make a mistake on your meal or bill, instead of fixing it they will argue with you til their last breath. The last time they overcharged me instead of fixing it ,they argued with me then they said they will make sure they don't do it next time. What? How about this time?!! Its crazy because not everyone gets the same treatment. Ill se them run around to other tables and blatantly ignore me....

I love their chicken pad thai, favorite I've had outside of a high end restaurant in DC. The portions are extremely generous and the inclusion of multiple limes is very thoughtful.

I’ve never been to the restaurant (my bad I have to dine there someday), I’ve ordered delivery and must say: I AM OBSESSED with the drunken noodles! I’ve tried them in other restaurants, but hands down here are the best ones so far!

Went to eat and we were surprised at how delicious the food was.....the staff was so.friendly and attentive. We had so many choices and will have to come back to try more dishes. We even had leftovers. The drive from Frederick, MD was worth it.

Took my family there last night. My last review was 3 years ago and I'm glad to say that everything is still just as awesome. The duck and spring rolls were a massive hit. Thanks for a brilliant meal.

Lousy place. Ordered pineapple fried rice and a beer. Good food but the service was awful. The person practically wanted to chase customers away since they wanted to close the restaurant. Dont advertise 10.pm when you want customers out by 925 pm.
