Best Thai restaurant in America.Especially, fried rice was no difference that I tried in Thailand. One of the best thai restaurant i’ve visited. This is the most delicious Thai food I've had in the United States. It suited the Korean taste very well, and I especially liked the somtam. I highly recommend it to everyone who visits here. It was much more delicious than the food I ate in Thailand!

First Time Impression: Please learn to take the time to listen to what someone is saying before you run off to the back with an attitude speaking in your language. We ordered takeout. The order (although requested separate) was combined. We asked the older lady to separate (2) for payment. She grabbed our bag and ran to the back to separate items. Another younger much nicer (reason for stars) lady understood and informed her of what we meant. She did manage to conger up a half sincere apology before we left but the tone had already been set.Outside of that I did enjoy the green curry shrimp and chicken fried rice (plentiful) along with the curry puff as well.Won't return. Don't like being treated ugly when there are plenty other places that will enjoy my business.

Excellent Thai restaurant. The parking is a bit iffy, though; but if timed correctly is perfect.

This Thai restaurant is my family's all-time favorite place in Reston. We often dine here, and the food is so good!Pad Thai and Pad See Ew are always perfectly cooked with the right spices, and noodles have the perfect texture. The Crabmeat Wok Rice is a simple yet flavorful dish, while the Tom Yum Salmon is a tasty soup perfect for a cold day. The Som Tum - a green papaya salad with spicy lime dressing - is to die for, and all the other dishes we tried were excellent. Prices are reasonable, and the portions are very generous. The place is elegantly decorated with flowers on each table, and there is a bookshelf-like display frame on the wall of the central area. This place has many design elements that enhance anyone's dining experience. It's a beautiful spot for savoring Thai cuisine and hosting guests for any occasion, with the added convenience of small private areas with seating.Parking: Free retail parking garage under apartment building next door.

Nestled amidst a bustling enclave of office buildings and residential apartments lies an unassuming culinary treasure that is an absolute must-visit for any food aficionado. This hidden gem, though discreet in its location, is bursting at the seams with an explosion of flavors and the kind of freshness that turns first-time visitors into regulars. One of the standout dishes that immediately captures the palate is their calamari. Unlike many other establishments where the calamari is often overwhelmed by breading, here it is a revelation. Each bite offers a symphony of textures, from the super crispy exterior to the tender, perfectly cooked squid within, making it a dish that sets a high bar for appetizers. However, the culinary journey doesn't stop there. The menu is a vibrant tapestry of flavors, each dish telling its own unique story. The Pad Thai and Drunken Noodles stand out for their authenticity and depth of flavor. The noodles in each dish are a testament to the chef's skill, cooked to that elusive perfect point between firm and tender, acting as the ideal canvas for the rich and distinct sauces that coat them. But it is the duck dish that truly steals the show. Prepared with a finesse that borders on artistry, the duck is an epitome of crispiness and flavor. It's when this dish is paired with the ka pow sauce that the experience elevates to something celestial. The sauce, with its complex layers of flavors, could easily be enjoyed with nothing more than a simple bowl of rice, such is its allure.Already, the anticipation builds for a return visit, with the fried rice and curry calling out to be explored. With each dish not just satisfying hunger but creating an experience, this hidden gem is a place where every visit promises not just a meal, but a journey through an exquisite landscape of flavors.

Overall, very tasty. I was hoping it would be more spicy based off the reviews, but it's still better than most places.

Abysmal service!! The first time my wife and I went in, we were not greeted nor were we acknowledged and I had to go up to one of the employees and asked for a table. Our waitress provided one of the worst service we have ever had in a restaurant. She never came to check on us and did not want to provide any extra napkins or silverware. It looks like they are extremely careful to the point of exaggeration with their stuff. We asked for napkins, and the waitress looked at our table and then looked back to us and kind of gesturing that we each already had "one" so we don't need another! She never gave them to us! We asked another employee who was walking by our table and he went to the bar and got one and I do mean "one" single small square bar napkin and gave it to us! We waited several minutes at the end because no one would even give us the bill and I had to get up and find someone to ask for it. The food was not so good. We had the traditional papaya salad, but it was filled with a very strange brown shredded textured item that crumbled into the dish if you even try to take it out, it was disgusting. The main entries were about a 6 out of 10. We decided to give it another try on a different day. When we walked in, they would not allow us to sit at one of their booths and told us that we had to sit at one of those small tables in the middle of the aisle where everyone was waiting to get their Uber eats pickups. The waitress said that they had reservations for the remaining few booths. So my wife and I decided to order takeout. However, while waiting for the food we saw a family coming that did not have a reservation and they were allowed to sit at one of the booths! Anyway, we took our food and left. The third time we went in, we were not greeted at all and we were just sitting next to the door waiting for someone. So I finally got up and walked up to a waitress and asked her if we can sit at one of the booths. She said that was fine and my wife and I proceeded to sit. Then, another employee came out and yelled at the first one that I spoke with about the booth. Then they both came to us and said that we can't sit at the booth and we have to sit at one of the little tables again next to the aisle, because they had a bunch of reservations!! This was a complete lie because the restaurant was going to close in 45 minutes and something that doesn't make sense is not true. Three booths open and all were reserved 45 minutes before closing??!! The reason why they don't want to give booths is because they're so worried about maximizing their profits and they will not allow two people to sit in a booth! They're just waiting for a bigger group to serve!! We did not eat that night and we told them how bad their service were before leaving. The only reason why we even went back a couple times despite the extremely poor service was because it is within walking distance. Otherwise the food is mediocre but the service from the team members are extremely bad. No greeting, no acknowledging, no checking in to see how your food is, will not even give you napkins! Then when it's all over, hunt the person down for your bill!! If the owner really cares, they provide basic training or fire most of the team members and start over, because this kind of sloppy service is going to affect their bottom line! One waitress, her hygiene was so bad that I'm glad that we did not have to encounter her through our meal. The good news is, we found a couple more Thai restaurants in Reston that were actually a lot better and friendlier!! We will never be back here again!!

I'm a customer who visited my home thai multiple times. We had my friend's birthday dinner at this place. We were almost 10 member's spend our time's by some talks and jokes in our language. The Employee of this store made a comments saying we were laughing at her and she went and complained to other customer and the customer is very disrespectful with us. She don't know our language and how can she complain on us. We are a past customer of that store, what's the need for us to laugh at them. This is very very bad. At the moment we had discussion with the customer bought by this store employee, We were dissapointed and immediately paid the bill and left the store. They literally made my friends birthday bad and dissapointed us. This is our last visit to that store. Never come back to this again. The employees at this this store are very rude. They don't even know how to treat the customers.

Let me start by saying the food was pretty good… not the best Thai I’ve had but pretty solid. The service leaves a lot to be desired… our waitress was not friendly nor did she give any recommendations. The servings scream Family Style but we had no idea until all of our food came out… which was weird that they sent out each persons dinner one at a time leaving some dishes to get cold until we all wanted to eat together. The bar service was also extremely slow for it to be so dead and their red wine tasted old. Me and a few girlfriends met here for dinner after seeing some videos online that looked really amazing… idk what these “influencers” are making but the video couldn’t have been further from the truth. The aesthetic was not it, they didn’t make any cocktail into a mocktail as stated and it was almost not even the same restaurant… but wait, I saved the best part for last! Around 9:40 they turned the lights bright and turned off the music which I figured was our “que” to wrap it up because they close at 10. Never have I ever been at a restaurant and have this happen before where we felt like we were being kicked out. It was so awkward and dead silent you could hear all of the kitchen conversation and even our own. I just thought that was so rude and really put a sour end to the evening there. Needless to say none of us would ever return here… in fact, if you’re ever in Reston and craving Thai you should drive about 5 minutes from here and go to Tiki Thai instead! Thats what we did after leaving here and wish we would have just went there instead. Customer service was top notch and their drinks and desserts are amazing! To have another Thai restaurant so close MyHome Thai Bistro really needs to step it up! 0/10 would recommend!

I ordered green tea ice cream to go, at the end of my meal, and took it next door to my hotel to eat. Had to throw it away when I opened it because they drizzled chocolate syrup all over it. I am severely allergic to chocolate and couldn’t even touch it. Please ask before adding an ingredient not on the menu, and which wouldn’t be expected to go with green tea flavor. Otherwise good and service were very good.

Favorite place to eat in Reston. They do everything so well and have great service. Everything is always ready very quickly so go there earlier than they say. Panang curry, pad Thai, chicken Street noodles, and gyoza are my go tos. Duck dishes are generous and delicious though can be greasier than dishes with leaner meat. Go try it!! Thank you for making such amazing food!
