Overall a decent place. I observed the manager who sat people and also was running food blow his nose and proceed to handle food without washing hands. This was a bit off putting. Our server was very attentive and kind. The food was decent especially the Cuban sandwich. Kids Mac and cheese was not good and we mentioned that but nothing was done to make that right. For $9.95 for a kids meal, this seems pricey along with the price points for many things that were not a sandwich. The French fries as crispy and delicious and pizza is wood fired and decent. Beyond that we may come back but it's expensive for what you get.

We went there for brunch. One of us wanted brunch, and the rest wanted lunch. The menu is really extensive. So perfect for all of us. Very attentive server.

I always like delicious and healthy food, and I had a satisfying meal at Not Your Average Joe’s tonight. The “New England Lobster Roll” I ordered had rich lobster meat, and they also allowed me to replace the French fries with spinach. The bowl of clam chowder was also very delicious. The starter that my partner ordered, Crispy Bang Bang Shrimp, was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside (unlike some restaurants that fry the whole shrimp too dry and taste bad). All in all, we were very satisfied with the food tonight and highly recommend it.

What a shame. How can a place that has such good food, a great name, the bartender Maggie was fantastic, cannot get there AC together ? I’ve been going there for a month now and it still hasn’t been repaired. Poor employees. Temperatures are at 89 degrees in the bar. Is this even legal ? Corporate get it together. How do you expect anyone to like this ?

Ordered Carribean Chicken and a pizza. The bread was the best part that we missed from NYAJ.

The ONLY reason I’m giving 4 stars overall is because the menu food, no matter how hungry you are, is always a tad above mediocre. The complimentary bread with garlic sauce is the absolute star of the show when you first arrive. Everything else about this place is 5 stars. I usually sit at the bar of most restaurants and was greeted by the most bubbly bartender named Maggie, who was so knowledgeable about the food and drinks, helpful, and super friendly. They have a great selection of local beers, and was guided to try certain selections based on my taste and I was not disappointed with the “clown shoes” signature brew. It’s a great place to watch sports and they have a vast selection of programs for anyone stopping in. Will be back for the ambiance and the hospitality

Been here many times and always order the Ahi Tuna Salad, I love their flavor, very tasty. But this time, for some reason, the dish was sour and salty. I don't understand why salads have to be salty? The lighter the salad, the better.

Service was great and menu has lots of choices. Food was good with both taste and quantity.

The service was great, timely and attentive but not hovering. The problem was the chicken in my Waldorf salad and my wife's was raw in the middle, not even close to cooked. I haven't sent something back in years but this was not safe. The server did take it off the bill. Stuff happens once in a while, we have been there before and it has been great. The other 3 in our party loved the buffalo chicken pizza (2) and the meat loaf. I would go again but not order chicken.

Food was excellent. We asked to sit outside, but the chairs were not very comfortable, and the tables were wobbly. Our waitress was great though. Next time, we'll sit inside.
