Waiting around to get seated, had multiple staff just look at us and keep walking. I would understand if they were busy but was not the case.

We enjoy on the border normally, this one however was just okay. The staff was friendly and helpful. They were able to do our special request no issue. The food was only just ok

Everything was great but the food. Had the birria tacos and, if you've had birria tacos before, you'd know that this wasn't it. They used flour tortillas, typically it's corn. The beef was more like barbacoa instead of beef shoulder, not enough onion or cilantro and you can taste the lack of spices in the consome and meat. It was missing some oaxaca cheese. The wait staff was great but not sure what's happening in the kitchen of if they've ever actually tried birria before.

Went to place a to go order several weeks ago and right after paying, as the receipt was printing for me to sign, the lady working there goes “can you believe someone earlier today with a similar priced carry out order didn’t tip 20% ?” I usually leave a tip on to go orders anyway, but I really didn’t like getting pressured into leaving one. I left one to make sure she didn’t tamper with my order but haven’t been back since despite craving it a few times. Food was always great but there’s plenty of other places to eat in Reston with equally good food and less pushy staff.

This is best Mexican we have found in the 5 years we have lived here.
It started with huge chips, 6 inches or more and we each got a salsa.
I had the pork enchiladas and cleaned my plate just like Grandma taught me to.
All in all a great lunch.
