Had some gelato here today. Not very impressed. I had the chocolate hazelnut, espresso and lemon (sorbet). The chocolate hazelnut was the best of the flavors. The espresso didn’t taste very strong, nor did the lemon (if I’d had tasted blind, I might have had trouble figuring out what it was). The gelato was quite soft, almost runny. I’m used to something a bit harder/colder. As far as service is concerned, I like that they let you taste. The problem is that what they sell as a large portion at close to $9 before tax is about the same you’d get as a small size at another place for about half the price. To make things worse, they were stingy when they filled this small cup. The person serving me made sure that each flavor just barely came up to the lip of the rim on the outside. The inside ends up as a dimple. There’s certainly no filling as high as it can get. I’ve seen some pictures from other reviewers with cups filled and nicely rounded as a small mount - I certainly had a good amount less. Now wondering if they were trying to stretch what they had on hand. Plus, due to the server carefully smearing each spoon into the cup, the cup ended up with dabs of ice cream all over the outside.Some other reviewers raved about all the great flavors, but I didn’t see anything that I haven’t seen at thousands of other ice cream or gelato shops. When I think of exotic flavors, I’m thinking lavender, black lemon and other such things. The only slightly interesting flavor here was the Mojito flavor, but for some reason I decided not to taste that.They also have cookies and small pastries which looked good, but I didn’t try any of that.Kind of interesting how the pictures in some of the great reviews are so similar, e.g., showing the “flavors” wall and pastries/cookies…Not coming back here.

The gelato here is amazing. I ordered Sicilian pistachio gelato and my husband ordered strawberry gelato. We both enjoyed our time here and the customer service was great. Definitely recommend.

Execellent gelato in the Reston Town Center with a good range of flavors, including sorbets, and well crafted coffee. They offer samples as well, and my reco is to go for the large where you can get a trio of flavors (at only $1 more than the 2-flavors medium). Try the crema, banana, and pistachio for a classic sampler or go for the mint straciatella and ginger for a more adventurous mix. Worth a stop!

I always judge coffee shops by how well the make a small, hot, black coffee. I am happy to say that Pitango does a FANTASTIC job. Their chai and gelato are also excellent, just a great shop.

First time in my life I ate REAL gelato. Excellent flavors that they switch regularly. Very full of flavor. Awesome place. Pricey but they deserve it.

Here you will find some of the best gelato and ice cream. Their ingredients are fresh, organic, and very high quality. The flavors are quite creative (spicy chocolate) and seasonal (certain fruit sherbet).It's also a Cafe where you can order specialty coffee in plain espresso or affogato on top of your ice cream. People come and have a chat and chill, have a beautiful time with their partner or work. You can't go wrong with this place.
Delicious gelato and quality ingredients. Tastes like the real thing and similar to gelato I have tried in Italy. The biscottis are good too. I also like that they are open late.Parking: Parking is free after 5pm on weekdays in any of the rtc garages. Weekends it is completely free.
Glad I don't have to go all the way to DC anymore.

All the sorbets and some of the cremas were frozen solid, so we couldn't order those. I had the cardamom and cinnamon gelatos which were smooth and creamy with very, very subtle hints of each spice. The staff was friendly and apologized that the other flavors weren't available due to how hard they were.
