I read the bad reviews and was concerned at first. I have been here twice though and each time is better. Honestly one of my favorite places. The honey, acai, and banana blend are all 10/10.

The reviews for this location seem pretty hit or miss, but this is a regular lunch stop for me and I've never had any issues. The acai bowls are delicious and satisfying when it's hot outside. My only real complaint is that Playa Bowls has become yet another spot where the employees expect an obligatory tip via their tablet payment, despite making an hourly wage and providing no service to you. It's silly to me that what is essentially a fast food restaurant expects...
