I've been here multiple times it is usually not crowded at all. Came for valentines and they were not prepared AT ALL. Reservations were 45 minutes behind and they couldn't take new drink orders at the bar while waiting because they were so backed up with tickets. I eventually got one drink to sip on while waiting - only because I asked a few times. We waited probably 55 minutes before getting seating.

Once seated we had a fantastic server. He was very nice and charming. I felt bad for him because he had to tell all of his tables they were basically out of every steak. Luckily I was planning to get one type of steak they had left. Considering everyone was waiting 45+ minutes they should have definitely let people know before waiting that this was the case. You could tell the waiter was getting heat when he told people. My experience once seated was great - food/service were both amazing.

As someone who works in the restaurant business I fully understand things happen especially on busy nights - however they were not prepared in any way, shape or form. I don't understand because you knew you would be full for Valentine's Day. Hopefully this served as wake up call to the owners and managers.

My boyfriend and I came to Ruth Chris on Valentine’s Day and had a reservation at 7:30. Once we walked up to the hostess they told us that they were 45 minutes behind. Everyone was crowded waiting around the lobby area for their reservations; people that had reservations at 6:30 were still waiting. And we even overheard a lady telling someone else that she came in as a walk-in at 5:30. You should not be accepting walk-ins on Valentine’s Day when all of your reservations are 45 minutes behind and for a restaurant that claims to be nice and high quality that should not be happening in the first place. The food was good and our waiter was nice, but the experience was ruined by having to wait 45 minutes when we had a reservation that we literally made it back in December.

Valentine's Day is always a big event. That's why I made reservations weeks in advance...and confirmed a week before our reservation. We arrived on time, then were told the wait was 45 minutes. We were seated 43 minutes after our confirmed reservation time. Food was great (crab cakes and filet mignon, and the wedge salad to start), but it took 75 minutes to get our food after being seated. Disappointed in the wait time, seating, etc. We saw our waiter a total of 3 times over 2.5 hours -- and only because we flagged him to get our drinks.

Ok its was Valentines day so the place being busy is understandable. Reservations at 6:30, arrived 10 minutes already running 30 minutes behind early Seated at 7:00pm. -Waited 10 minute after seating for waiter to arrive -Waited 15 minutes for drinks -finished eating main course at 7:50. -Waited 20 minutes for waiter to check on us. -Was thinking of dessert but after the wait we decided against. -Asked for bill - 15 minutes later paid. - Left at 8:30. Food was great, I think the issue is that the place was oversold. Being oversold is a management decision.

We arrived at 6pm, the hostess advised that they were running 30 minutes late. We sat down at approximately 6:20. Later, it was obvious the kitchen was backed up and running extremely LATE! Approximately ONE Hour! We ordered 3 appetizers, the Ravioli wasn't even warm! At 7pm when we tried to order our entrees, they had ran out of the 16oz Ribeye steak, the 26oz Cowboy Ribeye and the 24oz T-bone (in order of preference). How do you run out of three types of steaks, 3.5 hours before your kitchen closes on Valentine's Day!!! Finally they offered a steak they had, the 40oz Porterhouse for two at a discount. I appreciated the offer but it's not my preferred steak. When we first sat down and our waiter “Christian” asked if we wanted cocktails, I informed him that I couldn't drink because I had to go to wrk that evening. After waiting for approximately 40 minutes, I asked the waiter on the status of our food. He obviously didn't appreciate my question! He replied; “Status on What?” He was rude, unprofessional and had a major attitude. When the food finally came out at 8pm, my wife's Stuffed Chicken was overcooked that she had to dig to try to find the cheese which had dried up and my medium well steak was well done! On our way out I asked to speak to a manager and had to wait for 10-15 minutes before a manager “Siva” spoke to me. He tried to apologized and asked me to call him directly. By far, this experience ruined Valentine's Day and I won't be returning to Ruth Chris! It was obvious other customers were complaining and not happy with their experience.

Our steaks were wonderful. Au gratin potato side was disappointing. Even with a reservation, we had to wait 20-25 minutes to be seated. It was Valentine's Day, so busy, but still, it's quite a wait if you have a reservation.

Steak spectacular. Everything hot and delicious. Server great. Wallpaper peeling from walls. I think it's time for some maintenance.

One of my two favorite restaurants to celebrate big occasions, all occasions, and it did not disappoint. Nine of us had the BEST time last eve celebrating husband's 78th bday! Absolutely impeccable service (Paul you are the BEST!), your leadership and kindness Sierra are so appreciated and respected, and to the Chef, EVERYTHING was superbly delicious!!! Thank you ALL for helping make last eve such a fantastic and memorable eve🥂

I got the surf and turf. I was impressed with the size of the lobster tail I was served, it was actually a solid amount of meat and very delicious. The steak was cooked perfectly. The mashed potatoes were a definite standout. The service was good, very professional although some servers appeared to stand out more than others in terms of going that extra mile. My only wish is that they would offer more Old World selections of wine.
