Shake Shack was okay but definitely overpriced. I got a Bacon Cheeseburger fries and large drink for $25. For that price I could have gone to The Capital Burger a block away for the same price. The food is tasty, but definitely left me feeling disappointed for the cost. I can't imagine how this place is going to do any better than The Counter, which was in the exact same location. The combination of over priced fast food and shakes has been tried and failed here already....
I visit this shack regularly and sometimes it takes a little while for food to be ready, but it's always good and right now they have a great 2-1 deal on double shack burger for bolloween.
I stopped by Shake Shack and tried the ‘Shroom Burger and wow, it did not disappoint! Definitely won’t be getting anything else after trying that sandwich! The crispy-fried portobello mushroom was stuffed with gooey, melted cheese that oozed out with every bite. Paired with the soft potato bun, fresh lettuce, tomato, and ShackSauce, it was rich, savory, and absolutely delicious.
