We made a reservation for four in the dining area and had a really nice experience. The atmosphere, food, and service were all great, and the interior is beautiful while still being comfortable enough to actually talk and enjoy the evening.

I ordered the wine flight, and the server really listened to what I asked for and brought selections that I truly enjoyed. Since I wasn’t very hungry, I ordered the cheese and meat platter, which ended up being a perfect pairing with the wine.

My husband and our friends also mentioned that their food was very good as well. Overall it was a lovely experience, and we would definitely come back and recommend it to others.

This review is for the Reston Towne Center location. The wine options are expansive, and there are 4 pour sizes to choose from, so patrons are sure to find one to their liking. Some small plates are great (e.g. tuna crudo, roasted cauliflower), but some are just ok (e.g. beets with goat cheese crema seemed odd and unnecessary to be tempura fried; meatballs were a bit meh, likely due to being mini sized, which made them almost mushy). There are a few comfortable and intimate areas to wait for your table at while enjoying a beverage. Much nicer than standing around or feeling like you are sitting in a lobby. Well done with the loungy waiting areas. Now to the dining room. The space is large and full (on a Saturday night), so there are a lot of people in the restaurant, and it is thus TOO LOUD to have a comfortable conversation across the table, much less diagonally. The dining hall is a big square space with rows of rectangular tables packed in, which means more people, more noise. They have not offset this with sufficient sound dampening. The design also feels more akin to what I would expect for a family-style, all-you-can-eat place. One of my guests remarked that the Sixty Vines location in DC has better food and is quieter. Service is not great. They are rushed, hard to hear, and I also had to later flag down our waitress twice, once by blocking her path at the food pick-up counters. There is a very nice, very long bar off to the side, and that is where I have preferred to dine on a prior occasion when with only one other person. It is a bit quieter and with much better ambience. As to the wine, some is good, some has been meh. IMO, this place lacks the ambience and consistent stellar food to merit its pricing, if you are accustomed to and seeking a finer dining experience. That said, the location does seem to draw a fair amount of young, casual groups who likely find the environment invigorating. Myself, I will never dine at the tables again unless they address the ambiance, and especially, the noise level.

Nicky provided exceptional service this evening. My husband and I enjoyed a date night at the bar and Nicky turned a good night into a great night. He was so attentive and friendly. We will definitely be back again soon thanks to his phenomenal service!

Used to love going here for their brunch. They had a mushroom goat cheese frittata that was delicious. Then they switched it to a Spanish omelet that lacks all flavor. It’s a real shame. I’m a vegetarian so the options for brunch are limited.

We had Albondigas and wood-grilled shrimp, steak, and affogato and cheesecake. Everything was delicious and well prepared.
Nicky K. was excellent, kind, attentive, and very patient while answering our questions about the wines. He checked on us several times and made sure we were comfortable.

!!!I’m giving three stars because of our initial experience. Another server first approached us, and after we said we needed a few minutes, Nicky came and told us he would be serving instead without any explanation. The restaurant wasn’t busy, and the situation felt uncomfortable. A simple explanation or apology would have made a difference.
We would return for the food and Nicky’s service, but would prefer not to be served by that staff member again.

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. Our server, Z, was exceptional—she demonstrated extensive knowledge of the wine selection and offered thoughtful recommendations that truly enhanced our meal. Her attention to detail was impressive, and she anticipated our needs so well that we rarely had to ask for anything. The service was seamless from start to finish. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend this restaurant to others.

🎪 A Night at the Greatest Pour-man 🍷✨

Friday night at Sixty Vines Reston felt less like dinner and more like stepping into The Greatest Showman — only instead of acrobats and elephants, the stars were burrata, pasta, and dangerously refillable wine taps.

From the moment we walked in, the place had that “Come Alive” energy — bright, lively, and buzzing without being chaotic. Our ringmaster-in-chief, Nicky, absolutely ran the show. He somehow kept glasses full before they were empty, anticipated what we wanted before we asked, and made the whole table feel like VIPs in the front row. Hospitality but make it choreography.

Thank you Sixty Vines team!

Nicky was the best! He curated the greatest flight. His service was covered in all the colored lights, where the runaways are runnin' the night, impossible comes true, it's takin' over you, oh…it was the greatest flight.
