For reston events, Starbucks doesn’t turn off mobile order, despite 2hr waits. People are just leaving after an hr bc they can’t cancel and Starbucks is keeping the money of course. Terrible .

Just go to tatte down the street. The barista didn’t care that I asked for whole milk instead gave me watered down 2%. Literally said she didn’t care to the cashier, in front of me. Also random loud music blasting in a tiny space. Not the vibe. It takes nothing to be considerate/accountable to each other. give a shit. But don’t worry, I will never come back to this location.

Most inefficient Starbucks ever. Drinks take FOREVER! And for a location that is in a high traffic area, that is not ideal.

This review is solely based on my most recent visit and not any previous ones. I originally thought stars, but then changed to 3 stars for a couple reasons.

As soon as I walked in, I received a generic greeting, but I was okay with it. Usually the baristas are way too busy to even greet customers as they walk in. I decided to place my order through the app to make it easier (for me) since I always have "complicated" orders to say out loud. They were really busy but as I was patiently standing there, waiting for my drink, the barista asked what drink I'm waiting for and started on it right away.

There isn't any indoor seating available, but there is outdoor seating. There was once indoor seating available, so not sure if this was a temporary or permanent change. I was hoping to be able to charge my phone, but there weren't any outlets available indoors or outdoors.

The bathrooms are only for customers, which makes sense, keeps random non-customers from using them...gives slight NY vibes. However, I believe they require a code from staff.

I frequent Starbucks, and this is by far the WORST location. My drinks always turn out disgusting, or wrong. There is no need to do a mobile pick up because there is always a wait and your order just won’t be ready. The atmosphere is always chaotic and unorganized. And never go if you’re in a rush because you won’t make it online.

There are other locations that are better and just a little further out, but worth the trip. So save yourself some time.

Came here for a coffee early in the morning last week while staying in Reston. Ordered a tall dark roast. Should be simple enough but not so. I didn't leave the customary 18% tip when paying. and the server wouldn't give me my coffee. She went ahead and served everyone else in the line and only when the store was empty would she give my dark roast.

My partner and I stopped by this morning for two drinks. We received such lovely and personalized service at the counter from a young blonde woman and noticed that the other employees seemed to be having a great time together. The energy was so nice inside of this Starbucks! I’m glad to see it.

It doesn't need to be this difficult to get a regular coffee with cream and sugar and a pastry.

I came to this starbucks because the tatte nearby had a line, and at first i was delighted that there was only one customer ahead of me. I ordered a pike place and a cheese danish. I asked for sugar and cream- i had to ask, because this starbucks never puts out their cream and sugar; I asked about it, and the Barista told me they "used to" but in the years i've been coming here, it has been at least 3 since i've seen them stock it. They have four people working the morning shift, and they can't be bothered to upkeep their coffee station. Secondly, they forgot to put the cream and sugar in that i asked for to begin with.

Next, the cheese danish. I Ordered a cheese danish, and told the clerk I wanted it warmed up- what I saw was them put the danish in the oven, and promptly forget it. It wasn't until the clerk noticed me looking at the oven (and seeing the button to begin cooking the cheese danish, unpushed and waiting) that she turned around and pressed the button. Then, the barista who was working the back counter sat in front of the oven for about 3-4 seconds, and pulled the danish when it was at about 12 seconds to go. I asked her to let it cook for the whole time , and she responded with "okay I'll make it extra crispy" - and then proceeded to cook it for LONGER than the normal time and handed it to me and said "here, extra crispy". I JUST WANTED A NORMAL DANISH, WARMED IN THE OVEN THE NORMAL WAY.

Lastly, of note the routine with coffee- they're grinding their coffee and leaving it in filter in the bean bins before they brew it, as opposed to brewing it as needed when they are rotating coffee. You can taste the difference, it always tastes stale.

Blatantly lied about the restroom being closed with plumbing issues. What do your employees working 8 hours a day do? You are a company selling beverages with a public restroom you won’t allow customers to use.
