Starbucks

Starbucks is always a reliable stop, and I have a few favorites I order regularly—iced Matcha Latte and the iced Brown Sugar Oatmilk Shaken Espresso never disappoint. This season, I’ve really been enjoying their Pumpkin Spice Latte and the Pecan Crunch Oatmilk Latte, both perfectly cozy and flavorful.
The only downside is that they no longer have the Apple Crisp Oatmilk Macchiato on the menu. It was such a great drink, and I know many people miss it. Hopefully Starbucks will bring it back one day. Until then, their seasonal lineup still makes it worth the visit.

I am stunned by how rude the staff were.

Chris (a heavy, older White-American man) was especially disrespectful, not only giving freebies to other customers, but also saying nasty things with a coworker whom I did not get the name of (a heavy African-American woman with a red afro).

The two of them not only made Anna (a young White-American woman and the only staff member there who appeared to be capable of their job) handle most of the orders, they seemed to take pleasure in making a hostile environment by taking as long as possible to serve customers (the line was almost to the door, and customers waiting for their order filled the common area) but Chris gave away food to customers who did not complain about the wait seemingly to punish those who (rightfully so) were concerned about the wait.

I have never seen a greater display of unprofessionalism than what I witnessed here, and I surely will not be returning.

One of the Baristas named Liv is just the absolute sweetest! Made my complicated coffee drink order exactly how I wanted it and it tasted amazing! We even bonded over the new Buc-ee’s that’s supposed to come to VA! Lol! Definitely one of my favorite Starbucks locations in the area.

Mumie was rude and got all my order wrong. Then as my sandwich was ready the staff just tossed it even though i was holding out my hand to get it. Got two of my orders wrong with the first one iced caramel latte but they gave me hot. Then my sausage cheddar sandwich with no egg was mistaken with turkey bacon sandwich with no egg. The sandwich just contained one piece of turkey bacon.

Horrible service from the dude working at the register. I asked if they can added whipping cream on top of my drink and he gave me a horrible attitude and was so rude for no reason. I asked if i could pay and he gave me an attitude and said yeah and snatched the scanner so aggressively to scan my phone and i told him maybe if he said something i would’ve known i could pay but he stood silent staring off. I was nice to him and he had an attitude for no reason. He should fix his attitude or go home if he having a bad day not taking it out on costumers.

Relaxing coffee shop with great coffee and friendly staff.

I come here frequently to grab several drinks for me and my coworkers. Today I came in and ordered 6 drinks. When I went to get my drinks from the counter, there were only five. A barista asked me if I needed anything else and I told her I was missing a drink. She told me the order only had five drinks, and I told her I had asked for two of some of the drinks… they asked me to go reorder, which I understand, but I decided I didn’t want to wait longer and I would just go without a drink. As I was walking out, I heard the other barista say “well you should’ve ordered online then, I just put in what you told me”… I understand the defensive in a way because they had misheard me, but I found that really rude. I know would I said and I would appreciate some humility rather than assuming I was in the wrong. This is the second time I’ve had an issue here, which is why I’m writing. I came here last week and my coworker had asked for a cold brew with cold foam on the side. I told the cashier and they said it was possible, then I get to the drinks and there’s no cold foam (which I paid for, it’s not like a free extra). I tell them I had ordered cold foam on the side and the barista gives me a small cup of foam with no lid… I’m about to drive to work so I would like to limit any spills. I ask for a lid and they tell me they don’t have one. They another barista gave me the cold foam in a small cup. I was glad she could fix it, it was mainly the other barista that was being confrontational and it made me not want to come back here again because I know I’m a nuisance to them.

This is the best Starbucks I have ever been to. The baristas at this location make the drinks so much better than any other location, hands down. Quality is 11/10 every time.

We arrived around 10am on a Sunday morning and were surprised with the slow service despite not being busy on the inside (2 people ahead of us in line).
