The folks at The Bike Lane are super friendly and knowledgeable. Not to mention the beer at the Reston shop is awesome. I would recommend this shop to anyone without hesitation.

The Bike Lane is a wonderful shop that encourages people to ride their bikes. Everyone from the owners to the mechanics to the sales people and cafe staff are welcoming and encouraging. As a customer with physical limitations, they were patient in connecting me with the right bike. Then, when I hadn’t ridden in a while and didn’t remember how to correctly mount it in its rack, they started from square one, and got me back in the saddle.

Even the shop dog is super cute.

I can’t say enough good things about them, but if you haven’t ridden a bike in a while, and it’s something you’d really like to do - even if you’re not ready to buy - I encourage you to stop by there and see what might be a good fit for you. They’ll let you try bikes and E-bikes and there is no high pressure sales pitch. Also, they are a brewery, and although I’m not a big drinker, I’ve heard good things about their beer. I did like their cold brew coffee a lot. They support other local businesses by hosting food trucks, so rolling out there on a Thursday afternoon and making an evening of it is a good plan.

Friendly and quick. Booked a last minute Yeti rental, bike was ready with suspension all set up. Bike was in great shape and rode great. Major plus is being located right next the Lake Fairfax trail system. I will definitely use the again.

Very rude staff. My son brought a bike in, and they were rude and condescending to him. Will never go back.

Was in Virginia for work and stopped in for a look. This is a great shop with a great atmosphere. Service is above and beyond. Tried on a pair of shoes and they didn't have the color I wanted in stock. I didn't know how long I would be in town and their answer to that dilemma was if I wasn't in town when the shoes
arrived they would ship them to me in Florida. I bought the shoes on a Saturday and had them in my hands the following Wednesday. I will be doing more business with this shop through their website. Absolutely the greatest!!!

Folks in the bike shop are real and explain everything nicely, they show you things, and want to know you rather than just make a sale.

Very helpful and kind staff, and the cycling gear and products are high quality. It’s also a great place to grab some coffee and snacks, located right on the WO&D trail. Highly recommend!

From the time I walked in the shop to the day, I picked up my special order bike, The level of professionalism, customer service, and low pressure sales environment focused more on education than closing a deal was extremely appreciated and a welcome surprise. Your associate Marc Walowac in the Reston store was knowledgeable, took time to research, and ensure that I had all the information to make an educated decision about my next bike, including having me test ride two different size frames to ensure I would be comfortable. Great shop in Reston with amazing customer service! I bought my bike from these folks years ago and have been having it tuned there now and then for years.

Recently was gifted a 2nd bike from a friend and took it in to see if it was worth getting it into tip top shape. The technician who helped with my bike was outstanding. I asked about removing wheels so the bike could fit in my SUV - she was very helpful and had a ton of patience with me trying to train me how to take on and off the wheel. The bike also looked brand new after her tune-up.

Went back in to have the bike fitted better for me - the owner, Todd, was super helpful with adjusting the seat and handlebar and set me up with the tools I needed should I need adjustments down the road. He also tightened up my bike rack and made it safe for the road trip I was about to take.

Can't say enough good things about this shop - if you want to be treated like family (who likes you) and want great service, this is the place to go.
