The service here was horrible! The guy was arguing with us about giving us a spoon after we bought smoothies with them. I went there with my family to buy smoothies and we also bought something from crumble next door. We needed spoons to eat it and asked the Indian guy at the counter but he wouldn’t give us a spoon even though they gave 2 spoons to the ppl in front of us without hassle. They just lost a customer over a plastic spoon. He then began to continue to argue with us so we asked him for the managers contact info and refused to give it to me. This was one of the worst customer service I had received at an establishment. I do not recommend going there. I think the guys name was Harry. Please avoid this gentleman!In response to Sam’s review. We never cussed at them and my wife never threatened them. We simply asked for a spoon after they gave it to someone else before us. Sam was never there from the get go of the conversation and at the fact that the guy behind the counter cussed out my wife to be exact.

Worst tropical smoothie I have been to. I placed an online order and got a sandwich with extra protein. But to my suprise they put less than 1 portion forget 2. Also, no one speaks English. So even if they get your order wrong, you can't explain it to them. This has happened multiple times, and I am sick of wasting my money.
Each time I've visited this location, I've received great, prompt service. I've ordered at the counter, as well as online for in-store pickup and have received the same level of great service. Unlike some locations, here, you can choose to eat at their inside or outside tables. There is a large parking lot, usually with many spaces available during different times of the day. Nestled on the far right end of the Plaza America shopping center, this Tropical Smoothie Cafe is conveniently located along Sunset Hills Rd., not far from Wiehle-Reston East metro station.

Went in a couple months ago and have not came in since yesterday one girl wearing a scarf was so nice and answered all my questions, lady making my food was rude and when I asked for napkins she looked at me and walked away I had to ask a different girlMy first experience a few months ago was horrible and never came back until yesterday my first experience I came in and a lady making food so was rude and when I asked her for something she just looked at me and walked away.Overall yesterday costumer survive was not bad and lady with a scarf was nice
