Really a bad overall experience top to bottom when compared with other locations. Server was friendly but absent.
Our dinner here was above and beyond expectations. We were greeted nicely, and served exceptionally. The greatest thing for us, though, was the incredible variety that each of us with severe food challenges could choose from! Usually we go out hoping to find one thing on a menu that will be okay to eat, but here there was such a variety of safe foods we could hardly make up our minds. And every dish was delicious! True Food Kitchen is our new go to.
Food was ok - not great - we went for brunch had the egg scramble (it was a bit dry)...asked for some salsa to make it better and the most they could offer was to get some hummus...kinda meh
The food was awful. We were looking forward to healthy food but were very disappointed with our orders
Unfortunately the food was extremely bland. No seasoning at all. Our server was great though.
An overall very disappointing experience. Our roasted cauliflower starter was neither roasted nor cooked through; our extra cost French fries were cold & our burger was not hot & very bland.
Great food and awesome locations. The staff is very friendly. Food and drinks are delicious.
The restaurant was basically empty on Sunday night, but the wait time was nonetheless interminable. the food was fine when it eventually reached us--but it was not so great that it was worth the wait
My family has enjoyed a few dinners here and it has always been great, until this one. Some of the dishes were cold (that were not supposed to be, like pizza), another was just totally burnt (took crispy chicken to another level). I personally found the food still tasty, it was just disappointing because it wasn't up to the usual standard I have found in the past at True Food Kitchen. I'm hoping it was just an off night. The service though was still wonderful, as always!
FABULOUS! New favorite restaurant! The menu was amazing.... which presented the only downside – it was difficult to choose! This was compounded by the fact that what I chose was SO delicious I would wish to order it again, which means not tasting new menu offerings! A delectable problem to have.😉

Went to celebrate my husband's bday with another family. After being seated, received water after 20 mins, mix up of drinks, cold edamame dumplings, adult drink severed in plastic cup, 20 mins to get pita chips.. could go on and on.. they said they were overwhelmed with traffic from the Reston town center concert, there was traffic at the bar but restaurant was not. manager came and apologized, server also tried to help once we expressed our concern. This is probably our 6th or 7th time between Reston and Mosaic one. Food was good as you expect from TFK except usual edamame dumpling and service. They offered deserts on the house to redeem themselves. Appreciate their gesture. vegan flourless chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream and cookies were great!
Food is absolutely delicious. Servers are super nice, but sometimes forgetful/ not as attentive. We asked for olive oil a few times and never got it. Not a big deal, we'll surely continue to dine here 😊
I have immense respect for what TFK is doing. Clean, traceable, chemical free ingredients; a plethora of allergen and toxin free foods; no seed oils... all these measures should be standard on every single restaurant but while most still prefer to serve regurgitated poison, TFK dares to take a stand for real food. Unfortunately, the food itself isn't that great. We use clean ingredients at home and make tastier food with the same attributes at a much cheaper cost. TFK's growing repertoire of clean food is admirable but thier dwindling flavor is a disappointment. I will continue to patronize TFK to support thier manifesto, and I will hope their recipes will get better with time.
If you care about what your family eats, or if you have a family member with allergies and sensitivities, please consider supporting TFK even though the food isnt as tasty as it can be.

In terms of take out and Uber Eats — they never pay attention and I’m always missing an item or missing requested sauce on side. And what’s so hard about putting utensils in every take-out bag?
I’ve ordered here over a dozen times and the only reason I continue is because of the quality ingredients… but even the food prep has gone down (ex: crunchy/tough sweet potatoes) so this may be the last order.

Menu didn't have as many vegan options as other locations. Server was great with attention to vegan needs and very nice but slow.
