We had a party of 20 and they still managed to take good care of us through our the meal. I didn't get a chance to try the live guacamole but everyone else that did said I was fantastic. Next time I'm back on the east coast in Reston I'll gea chance to try it out with a smaller group of friends.

Chicken slightly undercooked and not tasty . Rice tastes like Uncle Ben’s out of a box . Beans its like from the can . Beef seasoned well but onions are dry , not served enough onions, peppers . The only one we like was the hot flour tortillas and the chips and the salsa. And the soda. The server was not that attentive.

Parking: Hard to find street parking . Garage parking has to walk far.

Uncle Julio's Reston does not disappoint. The food was good, although I didn't care for the slightly greasy pan-fried taco shell on my street taco's. All of the flavors combined were good, though. If you like drinking the best of the best margarita, go for the Cadillac. I had two of them, will be my go-to drink every time we eat here. Would have had three but the wife gave me that look...

We started going to Reston Uncle Julios when there was nothing but a gravel parking lot where Jackson's now stands. Something happened to Uncle Julio's - the food isn't very good any more. Maybe when it was sold to an Investment Groiup in 2017, or when they laid off 4,300 employees nationwide. I was hugely disappointed when I had lunch there today. Cheap ingredients, nothing taste good - while it wasn't spoiled or rancid Chipolte does a far better job. Too bad, in the 80's and 90's they served very good food. Now....its all price point cheap.

First time placing the order for take out. They couldn’t figure out the order even with the name (asked my name half a dozen time) Waited for more than 50min nothing to be found.

I’d suggest if you guys would train some team members to resolve order issue(s) with one person at a time instead of dealing with multiple people may be that’d help.

Place looks nice but sadly service failed me.

Wasting time, no exception.

I’ve been going to the Reston Uncle Julios since 1999. Today, I learned that the happy hour menu that was given to me sitting outside had restrictions not advertised nor was I told. The HH food menu is only if you are sitting in the bar area, but the HH drink menu is for everyone. Back in March I sat outside and ordered food off the HH menu with no issues. I’m very disappointed. If you change your policy, alert your patrons, change the menu. Better yet, don’t change it. Do better.

This place is super busy and they do it to themselves. They pack and squeeze as many people as possible with tables just inches from each other. It then becomes really loud and barely any room for people/staff to walk around without bumping each other. It’s obvious the wait staff is super overwhelmed and can’t provide enough attention to all their tables.

Our waiter visited us 3 times. One to order, one to “check” on us when we got our food, and one to provide the check. No other checking or providing refill on water or chips. It was also extremely obvious that our waiter was spending most of his time attending to his larger tables than the tables that have 2 people.

It took 10-15 minutes of sitting before our order was taken. We had ordered queso and NEVER received it. We were saving our chips for when the queso arrived, but after 20-30 minutes of no queso, we finished our chips and we’re not offered any refill. When the kitchen staff brought us our food, our waiter then came to “check” on us. He was actually holding a tray of dishes that he was delivering to another table. So he wasn’t planning to stop and speak with us, just so happened to walk by at that moment and do a 1 second conversation of “does your food look good?”

I let our waiter know the queso never arrived and let him know to please take it off the bill. Our waiter looked confused - I don’t know if it was because he fumbled, someone else fumbled, or if the order was just never put in. He awkwardly said “oh ok I’m sorry” and then just immediately walked away. The next time we saw him was when we waved him down to bring us the check. No other words or asking how our meal was.

We also observed the table next to us who also had only 2 people. They waited 30 minutes before their food order was taken. No jokes. No lies. Their order was taken as we were leaving and they had been sitting there for a really long while.

When we paid on their iPad type thing, I gave a 1 star review and it asked if a manager came to visit us. Obviously not. I don’t think they even knew we existed.

TLDR: too many people being squeezed in with not enough wait staff to go around. Mediocre food for a high price. An overall joke of a place. Luckily there are other pleases to eat at in RTC.
