Stopped by after our flight was canceled, great setting and good food for the money.

Food was good. Not a lot of GF options. I didn't realize they only do pizza on Wednesday's (I'll have to go back). However, I was able to get the shrimp and grits. Grits could've been cooked a little longer but that's just my personsl preference. Overall the food, staff and atmosphere was good and friendly. Drinks were good as well.

Exceptionally fast meal presentation. Hannah’s a good server - personable and helpful with menu selection. My wife had fish and chips and I had the lamb Bolognese, and a glass of wine each. Atrium gives a good ambiance.

The drinks were great but the star was the truffle parm fries! They were fantastic and a large portion!

How I paid $50 for an upset stomach.... Generally speaking, Richmond seems to have some very good food. 23rd & Main cannot be added to that list. My husband had the Herb Crusted Salmon. He was disappointed in the serving size and wasn't impressed with the flavor. I was shocked, because he'll eat anything. He complained that it was overpriced and under flavored. I thought the veggies were uninspired and overcooked. I had the Freebird Sandwich. It truly should be set free! Nasty! Greasy! Bad flavor. Huge brioche bread and no chicken. Pimiento cheese? Yuck!! I would have preferred a sweet heat to this. How about a homemade ranch? How about a buttermilk biscuit to replace this puffy, brioche thing resembling bread? When I ordered, the woman talked me out of getting the chips. Why? I thought she was going to offer, perhaps, a small salad in place. Nope. Yes, I'm a home chef of a higher level. My spouse is spoiled, but truly never complains, even when I make mistakes. This place is within easy walking distance of our home, but we'll never return. To top it all off, later that evening I felt sick to my stomach. Can we blame 23rd & Main? Maybe not, but I am. I really wanted to love this place. Perhaps all the other great places in Richmond, Chicano's Cocina!, have spoiled the playing field. Just Say No! PLEASE DO NOT REACH OUT TO US. SHORT OF A FULL REFUND, THERE IS NOTHING YOU CAN DO TO MAKE THIS RIGHT. WE WILL NEVER EAT THERE AGAIN.

Excellent food with generous portion sizes and reasonable prices. Comfortable atmosphere and outstanding, friendly staff make this a great choice when in the area.

First time doing brunch here and it was awesome! The bloody was a meal in itself! Can't wait to eat this again.

Went to 23rd & Main last night for the first time and it was fantastic!! The margaritas were soooo good...no fake stuff and the Giggle Juice was crazy good too! I had fish tacos and they were amazing...I'm really picky when it comes to fish tacos and these were top notch. My party also ordered the Freebird chicken sandwich and the Sette White pizza which were all delish. We will definitely be back to 23red & Main soon!!!!!

Enjoyed a birthday lunch here with my deaf friend today, sharing three plates together, we left full and happy with memorable leftovers to enjoy this evening at home. We had the Parmesan truffle fries (a wealthy portion for us two), the pimento hummus had a wonderful tang and perfectly soft yet well griddled flatbread and the salmon salad. The salad was adorned with candies pecans, dried cranberries or cherries, mixed greens and we swapped out. The blue cheese for feta cheese with the perfectly cooked salmon it was great! Definitely will return and introduce others to this delightful spot.

I've wanted to try 23rd & Main since I moved to Church Hill in 2019. I finally stopped there last night (Friday) to check it out. First off, the staff was friendly and engaging. The space has a great vibe to it and I expect the patio is fantastic when it's warm. Their section of drafts, wine, and cocktails is excellent. Since I was solo, I sat at the bar. The bartender was churning out mixed drinks like a superhero. Handmade cocktail after cocktail, after cocktail. I ordered a draft and a pizza. I'd asked what the popular:best dishes were, so I was looking forward to my Church Hill pizza. It was mostly red peppers with smatterings of pepperoni and mushrooms. I wish the taste had matched the appearance as it was super bland. As I ate and watched the cocktail making, I realized the focus of this place wasn't the food, but the cocktails. The staff was completely absorbed with making incredible looking cocktails, their wasn't much attention to food or patrons. I'll definitely go back for fancy drinks and HH apps, but will seek good food elsewhere.

Oh my gosh this place was fantastic! The pretzel bite were delicious, the beer cheese and onion dip that came with were to die for! The fried pickles had an excellent homemade feel and flavor. The white pizza was spectacular, and if you hadn't guessed from the general tone of this review I really liked this place and will be back soon!

This place has it all. So many different types of food and I haven't tried anything that wasn't amazing. Great pizza and burgers, they're Cuban was maybe the best one I've ever had and don't even get me started on the fish and chips. You have to try the pretzel appetizer too!

My kids and I stopped here on a whim on our way home. It's quaint and our service was really good. I ordered a salmon salad and loved it. My daughter ordered a ceasar salad and was equally pleased. The real test is my son though. He'll say, "I like it" and then leave all his food behind. He ordered a burger with fries. It was pretty big and he ate it ALL. No picking at it or leaving it behind. We'll take my husband with us next time. :)
